Let's go! I'm excited to present my entry for the Grok Imagine Creator contest for the Super Bowl! This was made 100% exclusively with Imagine via grok on web, I edited it in a simple editing program and then added my own music. Imagine is an incredibly powerful image and video model, not to mention it's phenomenally fast to generate. I used Imagine's powerful image capabilities to create brand mockups for these insert shots, and was able to get some really incredible shots of the football players in action as well that I leveraged heavily. Key prompt terms were: anamorphic lensing, volumetric lighting, lens distortion, and chromatic aberration for those of you curious! This is the future! xAI has cooked so intensely and I'm so thankful to be here with all of you as well to them for putting on such a great contest. Truly appreciated! I have played this game for a week or two now and my favorite part has to be engaging and interacting with the NPCs on any topic or conversation. The in-game mechanics keep you engaged at all times, you cannot get bored for a second, it is fun and challenging with lots of cool items to craft and a large map to explore. really looking forward to the finished product.

You have this summer and maybe next summer to produce the largest summit for educators and materials on how to thrive in an AI world. I will go into my symposium in a few minutes today and help this company get ready with an all hands 3 week workshop to embrace the future. We can do this for a full country. And we must do this now. AI COMPANIES: Take 3% of your income as of today, bound together as a trade association and rapidly run dozens of these summits and PARTNER with teachers. This is an emergency and your company’s very future arc is dependent upon it. Ask me an I will help. This is one of the brilliant educators who understand the challenge and are ready. On Friday, I hosted a Space with Jonathan Ross, the founder and CEO of Groq Inc - a company I invested in that is building custom chips for AI inference. Jonathan, a former high-school dropout, entered the chip industry while working on ad optimization at Google’s New York office. Jonathan overheard the speech recognition team complaining that they couldn't get enough compute. These were the early days of AI, and machine learning wasn’t really a thing yet. So he asked for some budget from Google and started putting together a chip-based machine learning accelerator for them. During the day, Jonathan would work in the normal ads part of the business, and at night, he would work with the accelerator team. After winning approval from Google, Jonathan and his team built a new chip called the Tensor Processing Unit, and began deploying it across Google’s data centers within a year. The TPU was a huge success within Google, eventually underpinning more than 50% of all of Google’s compute power. When the other hyper-scalers learned of this success, they tried to hire Jonathan to build custom chips for them too. During this process, it became increasingly clear to Jonathan that a gap would emerge between companies that had access to next-gen compute and companies that didn’t. So he founded Groq and set out to build a chip that would be available to everyone. I led Groq’s founding investment in 2016, and since then, Jonathan and his team have developed several types of AI hardware including the Language Processing Unit (LPU), a new type of silicon that is hyper-efficient at running inference for LLMs. In our conversation on Friday, we discussed the founding story of Groq, what you need for great AI hardware, large language models, and some of the implications for the key players in AI. Philip Seymour Hoffman on getting sober at 22: In this interview, Hoffman is asked about his decision to stop drinking and using drugs. The interviewer notes he went into rehab early, at 25. Hoffman corrects him. "I got sober. I was 22 years old." When asked whether it was drugs or alcohol, he doesn't hedge: "Yes. All that stuff. Anything I get my hands on. I liked it all." Then the interviewer asks the real question: Why did he decide to stop? His answer comes down to a single word, repeated: "You get panicked. You get panicked. I was 22 and I got panicked for my life." He's careful not to dramatise it. But he explains what that panic was really about. It wasn't abstract. It was the fear that the life he wanted was slipping out of reach: "Whatever I was doing made me worry if I was going to be able to do the things I wanted to do with my life. And I was putting myself in situations and predicaments that were dangerous." What stayed with him, even years later, was the clarity of that moment at 22: "I do remember thinking there's things I want to do, you know, there's things I want to do and I'm not going to do them. If I keep doing this, it's not going to happen."

He was the one that taught me the love for this game. "He decided this year that he can't be on the bag. He had the experience with me last year. He said, you need someone that knows.
