This week we did a little low crawl training while getting shot at by airsoft. Is it the best training in the history of forever? No. Do you want to get shot at point plank with an airsoft bb cause you weren’t staying low enough to the ground? Also no.

Strength training doesn't burn fat it stimulates muscle growth and preservation. When it comes to getting shredded to the bone, dedicated cardio is the king. You cannot think of shreddedness if you cannot do cardio. Even though body hates moving at low calories, you still need to get up and complete the task.

Black Hawk Down! 🇮🇷 🇺🇸 Search aircraft flew over southern and western Iran at low altitude to avoid being shot down by air defenses. However, this left the aircraft vulnerable to ground attacks, complicating the rescue operation. In fact, a Black Hawk was shot down by Iranian air defenses. Despite this, the crew was able to abandon the helicopter and was rescued alive. Also an A-10 was shot down too during the rescue operations while was flying over the Persian Gulf.

So many players hitting a low stinger cut up the first at The Open Why? They are trying to get the ball on the ground as quickly as possible. Keeping the ball low means the ball won’t have enough air time to go OOB which is on both sides of the 1st hole It’s a amazing that the best golfers on the planet still revert to a second serve when they NEED to get that thing in play Cool shot here 🐝

This is why cooking bacon in the oven is the best way to do it. Plus no splatter, perfectly cooked pieces, low maintenance & you can do large amounts at once. Use parchment on top of foil. Bake at 375 for 30-35 minutes for regular thickness bacon.

Take a look at this shot from Shane Lowry... Why did he choose to hit the higher shot vs playing a bump & run or even putt it... This is the difference between the ELITE & the recreational player The recreational golfer is likely putting this or hitting a bump & run with a 7 iron, or even a 4 iron... Now, while this option COULD get the ball close, it's by far the harder option in this scenario The recreational golfer will play the low shot because it's "SAFE". By safe, I mean less chance to hit it fat or blade it across the green For the elite golfer, height is always easier. They usually don't have any issue achieving good contact with their short shots around the green, so in this case, Shane is able to take out all the undulations around this green & just land the ball on the green & using some spin to slow the ball down The harder shot to get the ball close here would be a shot that is running on the ground. There's too much undulation & the ball could hit a ton of bumps along the way which will affect distance control Any shot is possible to hit here... But there's typically a shot where you can get it close more often than not. It's about identifying what that shot is & having the skills to play it

At a certain point, this isn’t even a basketball play. You can technically call these shot attempts, but Jalen Brunson didn’t even try to get these near the cylinder. There just should be no place for this in the game of basketball.

Some thoughts while training this morning: 1) I actually don’t like getting up to train at 6am. But I do what needs to be done, and with a young family I want to spend time with I’d rather take time away from myself and train while they sleep 2) See your training as a meeting with yourself; this is an idea you might have seen thrown about. I put all my sessions in a calendar - when it’s in black and white it makes it easier to just get it done. Mood always follows action, too Have a good week friends 🫡🌱

I’ve said this MANY times… Learn to hit your highest lofted club LOW… Here’s a fairly low/mid trajectory shot from 39y to a front flag… Why not use a “7 iron or 9 iron” and hit a bump and run? Because the ball speed would be too fast and there would be VERY LITTLE backspin to stop the ball A low 60deg wedge from 39y landing short, bouncing once, twice, then spinning is far easier to CONTROL your golf ball because you know exactly what it’s going to do Unbelievable shot here that most people wouldn’t look twice at. Amazing shot by Sam Burns
