This weekend's highly destructive severe weather caused widespread damage to utility infrastructure. We understand how frustrating it is to be without electricity, and we have a crew 1,300 strong on the ground today. We appreciate your understanding as restoration continues.

How about @GovParsonMO could get the #NationalGuard involved? This is clearly an #emergency and I feel like they might at least be able to assist with clean-up of trees etc. What is the state government doing? Honestly! Maybe they're making a great effort and I just don't see it.

Explain how the entire Ameren presence in U City has been trucks sitting idle and workers standing around? HOW is it still out 4 days later? Are u gonna pay us back for fridge-fulls of food we've had to toss? Are you going to make sure my pets don't overheat while I'm at work?

If your crew of 1300 is on the ground today, how come the number of outages haven’t budged from 30000 in hours and hours? We are miserable and it is dangerously hot! Going on day 4. I want an ETA on my address. I’ve been waiting since SATURDAY.

How is it during a major power outage you have no one in the office to field a phone call? I get it is the holiday but you guys have a crisis going on and you have no one to field calls. Come on Ameren.....

It's not frustrating. It's enraging. Next time my bill is due, I urge you to be patient. We're doing the best we can. We'll get to you when it's safe to do so.

I talked to a live person from @AmerenMissouri and they couldn’t give me a answer on when the power would be restored so why are y’all telling people to send a message if you don’t have a answer

⚠️ Update on Estimated Restoration Times ⚠️ As of Saturday evening, Georgia Power has restored power to 520,000+ customers following the devastating impact of Hurricane Helene. Our crews continue to navigate treacherous conditions including extensive tree damage, widespread flooding and many road closures. As the first full day of restoration progressed today, we have determined that Hurricane Helene was the most destructive hurricane in Georgia Power history, damaging infrastructure across the state. We also understand the importance of Estimated Restoration Times (ERTs) for you and your families - we have been working as quickly as possible to generate timelines and keep you informed. These ERTs are not a guess, but represent the most accurate estimate that we can make based on our in the field assessments. We will make every effort to beat these estimates and return power sooner than expected. New ERTs are now available for areas including Athens, Augusta, Brunswick, Clayton, Cornelia, Dublin, Gainesville, Hartwell, Hinesville, Macon, Madison, Milledgeville, Savannah, Springfield, Statesboro, Thomson, Tifton, Valdosta, Vidalia, Waycross and Waynesboro. ERTs represent the company’s expectation for 95% power restoration in the specified area. As we anticipated and announced before the arrival of the storm, restoration efforts will take multiple days into this next week. We know extended outages are inconvenient, and we truly appreciate your understanding as thousands of our team members work around the clock. Please visit our Outage Map for the latest update on our restoration process, including ERTs. We will continue to update the Outage Map, and our customers on social.
