This week’s focus improving weapon attack effects. I’m reducing some of the flashing visuals and shifting more toward distortion effects instead. The goal is to keep combat looking powerful and modern, while making longer fights feel more comfortable for the eyes. #IndieGame #ScreenshotSaturday #HackAndSlash

**Wave System Update ** We've upgraded the ocean with new wave effects, making the sea feel much more dynamic and alive than before. The new system is also better optimized, reducing performance costs while delivering improved visuals. The downside? It takes a bit more work to make the waves blend naturally with the shoreline... but it's worth it. 😆 #gamedev #indiedev #UE5

Earth vs. the Spider (1958) is a bit more than just a copy of Universal's Tarantula. I'd say while as a movie it's not "better" it tends to be more fun. And the effects are actually not bad? At this point Gordon's movies no longer had those transparent-looking bad effects.

(IGN First) No Rest for the Wicked is more Dark Souls than Diablo. 👀 • Combat is deliberate and tactical with a health bar and stamina bar. • Goal was to make combat feel less spammy than traditional ARPGs. • Boss fights. • Wide variety of weapons (daggers, hammers, bows and more). • Each unique weapon can also have different stats and enchantments to set them apart. • Each weapon has different runes which unlock combos. • Cook food BOTW style for heals. • Instead of mana there's a Focus meter, which increases as you do better in combat. • Every class uses Focus for their special abilities. • Gameplay showcase coming March 1st.

Air combos are harder against this type of enemy, so you have to wait for the right opening, launch them when the chance comes, and keep the combo alive as long as possible to finish them.
