This When a beam of light passes through different glass shapes, its path changes because of refraction. Refraction happens when light moves from one medium to another—such as from air into glass—and its speed changes.🔦

A little tidbit I picked up in my first vehicle-based shooting course years ago: When firing into a vehicle windshield from the outside, bullets tend to deflect downward because after it passes through the glass, the bottom edge of the projectile hits open air first due to the angle of the windshield. Air has less resistance than glass = bullet moves in that direction. The opposite is true when firing through a windshield from INSIDE the vehicle - bullets tend to deflect upward from your point of aim. Having said that, the amount of deflection varies widely based on projectile weight, velocity, and construction type. The more you know 🌈 ⭐
