It took me a long time to realize that the sun doesn't just put off visible light. Some of its light goes right through everything in the solar system. That makes all the bodies in the solar system literal prisms. Changing your words changes the light your prism produces.

Universities teach many erroneous models. One example of a misleading teaching is the Newtonian model of the prism.
