How about for the majority of human history when babies were born at home without a doctor? I guess it was a complete mystery whether the babies were boys or girls. I’m surprised our species was able to survive.

Every single other sexually-reproducing organism on Earth, from ants to antelopes, know the difference between male and female. It is most definitely not something that requires a medical ID to determine. It is THE most basic of all biological differentiators for ANY species. It is the primary driver of all life.

We never should have allowed these people to conflate gender with personality. People are different degrees of masculine and feminine and what defines “masculine” vs “feminine” are based on current era stereotypes

It was originally used in the very rare cases of DSDs, when it was hard to determine sex. That never happens in developed countries now where ambiguous cases can be determined by DNA tests.

So do you have to be doctor to determine whether someone is male or female? Are humans the same as chicks where a specialist is required to tell the sex because it is very difficult to do so?

The only people assigned a gender at birth are those with ambiguous genitalia, a developmental condition. The rest are identified based on sex characteristics. Gender as it’s defined today is a combination of human chemistry & human experience that becomes more stable in the future, somewhere in your 20’s. Before that it’s you & your DNA navigating the world accumulating experiences & forming your concepts, beliefs, feelings & consciousness.

I had an ultrasound at 20 weeks and nobody had to assign anything. The little floating penis was as clear as day. He is a bearded big man now. Totally a coincidence apparently.
