Bela is usually busy sniffing out illegal activities or tracking down perpetrators of wildlife crime. But when another duty calls, she answers! On this day, our SWT/KWS Tsavo Mobile Vet Unit was treating an injured elephant and needed all hands – and paws – on deck. The Canine Unit mobilised to the scene to provide support. Bela, who only has a year in the field under her collar, thought the whole experience was rather novel. (The treatment was a success, by the way!) This is Caitlin Clark in college at Iowa. She’s a 21-year old grown woman. She is not happy with the officiating. Shocker. As a player from the opposing team is lining up to shoot free-throws, Caitlin is acting like an absolute maniac, cursing out coaches and officials. No one can control her because she does not have an ounce of emotional maturity in her body. 14,000 fans are in attendance. Her team came out flat last night, and they were blown out by an inferior team. Do you see that woman sitting directly in front or her, bottom right on your screen? That’s A’ja Wilson, 4x League MVP and 3x WNBA Champion. That tossed clipboard landed right at her feet. Observations: No one is arguing with Becky. No one is justifying their failures. No one is blaming other teammates for their errors. NO ONE is acting as if receiving correction is beneath them. THAT is why they are the reigning WNBA Champions. Got Marcus Smart out here lookin like prime Scottie Pippen with 21 points, 10 assists, 5 steals, and 2 blocks, gettin 11 shots from the line. I tried to argue for KD but he clearly went full Charmin on his team. How you can't give em nothin with the season on the line? Straight hoe cake. Salute to LeBron, he made plays all game tonight and his clutch gene even made a very rare appearance with the steal on goofy ass Reed Sheppard then the clutch 3 to force OT. As a longtime fan of Denny’s, this R2 unit you’ve got rolling around in here bleating out a relentless chime is just awful. I was one of five people who complained after listening to this thing whine for half an hour. Even worse, it ferries hot food around, parking itself at the edge of tables, silently displaying the message “FOOD.” Guests give a bewildered look before realizing the robot wants them to stand up and serve themselves. I watched one old lady burn her hand on a plate of pancakes. Welcome to the future. So much for “America’s Diner.”

It is often said that good fathers lead by example. That is certainly true with elephants – older bulls are mentors, guardians, and founts of wisdom. They teach younger bulls how to behave and help them navigate the wild. Far from the solitary figures they’re often made out to be, bulls form strong friendships and show great loyalty. Many of our orphans, such as Kiasa and Talek, were taken under the wings of benevolent bulls until help arrived. Bulls can even step in as ‘honorary nannies,’ as this scene shows. Baby Saba (ex-orphan Sunyei’s daughter) got sleepy and settled at the feet of a visiting bull. He happily stood guard over the little girl until she was done with her nap! 🆘EXPOSED: Erika Kirk Blames "Security" for Disastrously Low Ticket Sales at Gill Coliseum 📉🚩 The footage doesn't lie, but apparently, the TPUSA does. Erika Kirk just pulled out of her high-profile appearance alongside Vice President J.D. Vance tonight at the Gill Coliseum in Corvallis, Oregon. While the official line is "security concerns" due to alleged doxing, the reality is visible to anyone with eyes. 🚩 Take a look at this video from inside the Coliseum. They expected to fill the home of the Beavers; instead, they got an echo chamber. The arena is practically empty. You can’t "dox" someone whop has private security, let alone she was well protected speaking at a massive, ticketed political event with the Vice President—She literally would of been protected by the Secret Service. Candace Owens isn't buying the "threat" narrative either, and she just put Erika on absolute blast: "Stop. This is exhausting. You pulled out because of bad ticket sales... People don’t believe you and don’t line up for you because you struggle to tell the truth about even the most basic facts." As Candace pointed out, the Secret Service handles the Vice President's security. If there were a "viable threat" to the stage in Corvallis, the Vice President wouldn't have been allowed to step foot in that building. Erika’s private "security team" doesn't outrank the literal protectors of the Executive Branch. Where is the Proof? The public is still waiting for the most basic evidence of her legitimacy: Where is the video of Charlie supposedly appointing her as CEO weeks before his death? One of the many myths about hedgehogs which I find particulary annoying is "hedgehogs get their name from living under hedges and grunting like a hog". This is not only utter nonsense, it's very dangerous misinformation which has caused the death of so many poor sick hedgehogs, who could otherwise have been saved. Yet I've seen this utter rubbish published on websites of organisations you'd think you could trust to get their facts right. Especially when it comes to such a precious endangered animal. Hedgehogs don't grunt. They don't snort. They don't make any sound at all. Just like us, their breathing is completely silent if they are healthy. Hedgehogs hunt for food. They certainly don't announce their presence to their prey by grunting and snorting as they approach. They are silent, and they hunt via scent and sound. They listen intently, all the time. Their hearing is so incredibly acute they can hear the scurry of insects legs under an inch of soil. Hedgehogs don't come out to hunt in the rain, not because they don't like getting wet, but because the sound of the rain drowns out the sounds of their prey, making hunting imposssible. And hedgehogs are solitary animals. Being solitary means they don't socialise with their own kind, or any other species, so they have no need for a vocabulary, or any verbal communication. The only time you are likely to hear a hedgehog making a sound is the huffing a female hedgehog makes when being courted by a male during mating season. One of the many myths about hedgehogs which I find particulary annoying is "hedgehogs get their name from living under hedges and grunting like a hog". This is not only utter nonsense, it's very dangerous misinformation which has caused the death of so many poor sick hedgehogs, who could otherwise have been saved. Yet I've seen this utter rubbish published on websites of organisations you'd think you could trust to get their facts right. Especially when it comes to such a precious endangered animal. Hedgehogs don't grunt. They don't snort. They don't make any sound at all. Just like us, their breathing is completely silent if they are healthy. Hedgehogs hunt for food. They certainly don't announce their presence to their prey by grunting and snorting as they approach. They are silent, and they hunt via scent and sound. They listen intently, all the time. Their hearing is so incredibly acute they can hear the scurry of insects legs under an inch of soil. Hedgehogs don't come out to hunt in the rain, not because they don't like getting wet, but because the sound of the rain drowns out the sounds of their prey, making hunting imposssible. And hedgehogs are solitary animals. Being solitary means they don't socialise with their own kind, or any other species, so they have no need for a vocabulary, or any verbal communication. The only time you are likely to hear a hedgehog making a sound is the huffing a female hedgehog makes when being courted by a male during mating season.
