My definition of success is achieving something however small, on merit, hard work & with integrity. I'm not one for pushing someone out of the way steal what they've achieved & claim ownership. As for hope, I had that with Sir Keir Starmer as PM. Not anymore.

So the message is hope, is it, Andy? Think we’ve heard that one before. As for growth, that’s another promise every Prime Minister makes. Delivering it is the hard part. I don’t feel hopeful while so many Labour MPs seem fixated on trans rights and Gaza rather than the cost of living crisis. Instead of focusing relentlessly on improving the lives of the people who put them in power, too many seem more interested in virtue-signalling on social media to win approval within their own echo chamber. There was a time when Labour was devoted to improving the lives of ordinary working people. Now what does it stand for? Identity politics, mass immigration, censorship and what @elonmusk calls the “woke mind virus”. Frankly, it’s going to take more than another slogan to restore hope. You might want to start by addressing the problems within your own party.
