"It [Iran conflict] worries me, of course, because it would be foolish to believe that events far beyond our borders do not affect us. This is what happens when a government becomes so fragile that even an unintended slight is treated as an attack on the nation. The message is clear: question, criticise, or even make an honest mistake involving one man, and there will be consequences.
