Thomas Sowell: "It is a lie that problems in the black community are attributed to the legacy of slavery. Black married couples were more prevalent in the 20's than today. Black unemployment rate was lower in the 1930's than today. The decline began in the 1960's with the welfare state."

Thomas Sowell: "Herbert Gutman did a study which was published in 1976 studying the deterioration of the black family. The following was concluded: - More than 80% of black children in the 1920's were raised by two parent families. - Homicide rate among blacks was lower in 1940, and in 1950. - Venereal diseases and teenage pregnancies were lower in 1950. - Suicide rates were lower in 1950. All of this drastically got worse after the 1960's Governmental programs, and the decline has never stopped."

Thomas Sowell: "I was just doing some research on Detroit and it's decline, as they kept raising the city income tax, the revenues kept falling. Barack Obama was asked by Charles Gibson in 2008, why he wanted to raise the tax rate because he will raise more revenue if he does the opposite, and his response was that, 'it's a matter of social justice'. He didn't care about the consequences. If he can get people to be mad at the rich and vote for him, it's a political success. He doesn't care whether the government collects more revenues or not."

Thomas Sowell: "I really think that our society is doomed. Our higher educational institutions have been become increasingly intolerant of opposing viewpoints. Charles Kirk was murdered by a person who claimed he was a 'fascist', not knowing that he himself was behaving like a fascist when he pulled the trigger."

"Muslims don't care about other Muslims. Arabs don't care about other Arabs. Nobody cares about Palestinians. Jordanians loathe them. The Egyptians loathe them. The Lebanese loathe them. They've done nothing for the Palestinians for 70 years." - Douglas Murray

Imam Tawhidi: "When I was an extremist, Islamist, fundamentalist, I would only vote left. I saw them as very stupid. I would fear the conservatives, because they come with principle. That is not someone they can brainwash, but the left they have no values and no principles to begin with. I dare you to find one Islamic extremist that votes for Donald Trump. They would never do it."

Thomas Sowell: "Frederick Douglas was truly a hero because he never saw himself as a victim. >He was a born a slave. >He escaped slavery, and later bought his own freedom. >He taught himself how to read and write. One of the ironic things is how students today can't understand the type of English language he used in any of his writings. This coming from a man who has never entered a classroom in his entire life."

Walter E. Williams: "Racism in our country could have earned a well deserved death. But, it has been resurrected by race hustlers or poverty pimps such as Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton and many others in the civil rights movement who make a living on the grievances of blacks."

Thomas Sowell: "Obama has an absolute talent for saying things that makes absolutely no sense, but not only sound plausible but inspiring. When they talk about taxing the rich, they often speak about people who happen to have money. Extremely few people happen to have money. This notion of 'taxing the rich' is straightforward nonsense. Rockefeller didn't have money, his heirs happened to have money. Progressives were livid when Rockefeller reduced the cost of oil to a fraction of what it is used to be by shipping it in tank cars making it cheaper to sell at a lower price, benefitting millions of Americans. That's how he became a multi-billionaire." Thomas Sowell attacks Former President Barack Obama when discussing 'tax cuts for the rich' and 'subsidizing' millionaires.

Thomas Sowell explains why he is against affirmative action: “You can either judge people individually, or you can judge them by groups. There is no compromise.” The anointed liberals want to feel they’re on the side of the angels, but consequences matter. Preferences often help the most fortunate in the group while the poorest fall further behind. Employers relocate to avoid the mess. “Seen in Black Americans, Malays in Malaysia, groups in India.”

Thomas Sowell on Bernie Sanders: "Socialism is a great idea, that does not mean it's a great reality. One of the things that disturbs me tremendously is about this enthusiasm for Bernie Sanders and Socialism, at a time when people are literally starving in Venezuela, an oil-rich country." "I don't think most people that are out there cheering for Bernie Sanders, have given a thought to Venezuela."

Thomas Sowell: "Here is a man [Obama] talking about five different industries and none of which he has the slightest experience. But because he has these degrees from the places you mentioned, and people have told him how clever he is, he now thinks he can do this. Intellectuals of the green/environmental movement see themselves as the wise and noble, forcing the rest of us poor dummies to do what's right. They are driven to power due to their ego, pride, and vanity." (This was pre-Solyndra.)
