Thora Hird's performance in Alan Bennett's Talking Heads is always singled out, and quite right too. But Patricia Routledge's performance as Irene Ruddock in A Lady of Letters breaks your heart. I've never forgotten this scene. Patricia was an incredible dramatic actress.

RIP Dame Patricia Routledge 😥 I posted this back in May and it went down a storm, both with those who remembered Kitty from Victoria Wood on TV and those who were new to the character. As sad as it is to lose somebody as talented and, dare I say as iconic as Dame Patricia Routledge, we will always have her legacy. And what a legacy that is. Keeping up Appearances, Hetty Wainthropp Investigates, Alan Bennett’s Talking Heads, et al. And that’s just TV. For her work on the stage she won an Olivier Award and a Tony. She was also awarded more doctorates than you could wave a stick it, which won’t surprise anyone. Dame Patricia’s final honour, which was awarded to her just last year, was the Freedom of the Borough of Wirrall. Surely it should have been Cheadle! God bless Patricia Routledge x

Rocky would’ve never worked as well without Carl Weathers’ performance as Apollo Creed. This is both a great character & a great performance. Apollo was so much more than your run-of-the-mill antagonist. He was nuanced. I was invested in Apollo’s outcome as much as I was Rocky’s.

I still think about Ralph Fiennes’s performance in Conclave. God, he was so good here. I’m not sure if he deserved the Oscar over Brody but this is as good of a performance as I can remember from an actor who’s spent his life on stage or in front of a camera. What a performance.

This was a great match. The atmosphere in Korakuen Hall was electric and the finishing stretch was fantastic. Best Naito performance in quite some time. And of course big shout out to Shane Haste. He had an awesome title reign with sick matches. He brought new life to main event scene in NOAH, deserves his flowers.

🐰the members? i’ve been constantly talking to the members 🐰 we were talking on the group chat right before this live too 🐰 taehyun asked how italy was so i said it was really pretty, that the food is delicious and that the people are really well-mannered 🐰 italians seem to have really good manners 🐰 also, i read the letters that i received from italian moas…in the letter, they were like “i don’t know if you’ll read this but…” ah can you hear my voice being hoarse? you can hear the hoarseness…anyway, they were like “i don’t know if you’ll read this but there are a lot of moas in italy too so i’ve been waiting, thank you for coming to milan” there were a lot of letters that said this 🐰 since we’ve actually never come to italy for a performance, it was an opportunity for me to find out that there are a lot of moas in italy too

"You know you've done something right when you make Robert Plant cry." Ann and Nancy Wilson from Heart perform a triumphant "Stairway to Heaven" as a tribute to 2012 Kennedy Center Honorees Led Zeppelin. This live performance was one of a kind since Jason Bonham, the son of John Bonham, was on the drums and that made the performance much more emotional for Led Zeppelin members. Seeing one of the craziest and best vocalists of all time crying makes you also emotional. Whenever I watch this live performance, I dive deep into an emotional stage. Heart performed an incredible and powerful rendition for one of the most successful songs.
