Dog bones are simple mount replacements. Did one not too long ago on a mini cooper up on jackstands with 0 room and still only took about 25min. Trick is having the impacts to take break the bolts loose so you’re not fighting them with 0 room to maneuver

Wow they made that support plate so thin. If they increase it by at least an 1/8 it would be much stronger. Planned fail point.

that job would be easy without a lift I did a steering rack on a ford edge on jack stands using a floor jack now that job sucked that’s something you want to do on a two post lift I only did it because I was helping a friend out

Second 29 tells a deep story about this video. The Transmission mount he pulled out was in good condition. Second 29 shows you where the issue is. The end bolt behind the oval washer was very loose. This is how many of them come when you buy them new. You are supposed to slide the rubber compression portion into the sleeve and tighten that bolt until you see rubber bunching up around the edges of the sleeve. Then you install the transmission mount. This prevents a hard break on the mount if it is ever stressed to a snap point. Its called a soft point for a reason.
