Most Nigerians do not want to think beyond their school walls. That's why you see graduates writing they would never read again after School, a typical history student for instance is not aware of any form of geopolitical awareness So sad 💔

Same with Haiti. We're dealing with ridiculous policies of IMF and IDB Inter-American Dev Bank. They pushing for more sweatshops Clinton-backed Caracol Industrial Park, more privatization run by criminal trafficking oligarchs, and spending on “inclusion”, basically nothing.

A lot of Nigerians lack the intellectual depth to understand what David is saying and you will always know them. They always believe the USA is the good guy.

#BritishNigeria

Politics of underdevelopment…..there’s a book 📕 called How Europe underdeveloped Africa by Walter Rodney: thesis suggests that colonial capitalism had a suffocating effect on Africa's development, stifling its economic growth, disrupting its social structures, and exploiting

Celebrating Independent day in this country is like doing a cultural dance in primary school.. We are not free yet. It's well

This is the nightmare Nigeria 🇳🇬 facing since the so called independent day.

Unfortunately, ignorance has been one of the biggest obstacles in Nigeria, they won’t even let you educate them on what’s really going on. If you think Tinubu having a case file with FBI and still rulling Nigeria is a coincidence then you’re more foolish than you think. 🚶

The Western-biased education that the typical young Nigerian went through has left them ill-equipped to fully comprehend the issue of neo-colonialism that we are saddled with. Thank you, David, for all the work you do. We just need 20% of awakened persons, to turn the tides.

Well said, David. I think you actually meant "supposedly independent", not "supposedly democratic". I wouldn't be so bothered if the issue is just absence of democracy which as history has shown is not indispensable for development & prosperity. Nigeria is simply not independent.

It is unfortunate that 80% of Nigerians have no understanding of what David is pointing out here. Compared to other Africans, particularly East Africans, Nigerians lag behind in recognizing & grappling with d realities of neo-colonialism. Our level of naivety is truly alarming.

Very informative. You may have added that since the 1930s, the BBC World Service is also funded and part-governed by the UK foreign ministry, and is not regulated by @Ofcom, under which the domestic BBC falls. I’ve learned a lot about imperialism in Nigeria from you. Thanks.

The average educated Nigeria is educated to be subservient to the west, the likes of @DavidHundeyin and some of us have educated ourselves to be defiant to the imperialistic goodwill of the west and their gross misinformation to make us feel we need them. We don't need them.

Unfortunately most of the Nigerian youths have been reduced to Political PR bots

David has always been saying the truth, most Nigerians are scared to accept. They eventually wake up to it when it's usually too late. The sooner we learn and realize these things the earlier we can save our country. Weldone David.

The day we realize that long life and prosperity is in our hands through the government and not God. We would wake up and demand better for our lives

Giving. Taking. Matching Forces. The global power play is not some game softness and kindness.

How person go just cross Ocean come help you for free? You self reason am when you dy less busy. @DavidHundeyin is for Africa 🌍

We shouldn’t be celebrating independence in this country call Nigeria 🇳🇬 period we are still slaves📌

That city boy will sell the back key to Nigeria and he will say hes amending the economy. Whereas with all the money they are hoping to achieve from this foreign “ investor and policy recommendations”. They are still borrowing from world bank

Kudus for the job you do David we will never stop speaking about Africa until we take our rightful place in the world

We need education about what's going on in this country before we can do anything about it , that's the first step we need to take as Nigerians .

We have never seen anything like this in the history of Nigerian music, the @RecordingAcad @GRAMMYMuseum I'm 100% sure Grammy is coming to nigeria from this selection, to distract our youths and continue to keep them divided. Our Nigerian celebrities are puppets too.

There was/is no independence for Nigeria unfortunately.

A policy so horrible that even an incompetent Buhari refused to fully implement.

Hmmm will haven't gotten independent yet , will are still slave's

See how they were looking like sheeps, they just want David to round up. What he is saying doesn't resonate with them at all now imagine the ordinary Nigeria who thinks life is all about having money and having s^x or praying 25 times a day 🤦

How do they get these monies de loan out? Who prints them? We should have the Gold backing the Nigerian currencies

As I grew up, i began to really understand the significance of the saying- "EDUCATION IS THE BEDROCK OF A FUNCTIONAL SOCIETY".

You’re doing an amazing job champ

🇳🇬🤔
