Most Nigerians do not want to think beyond their school walls. That's why you see graduates writing they would never read again after School, a typical history student for instance is not aware of any form of geopolitical awareness So sad 💔

Same with Haiti. We're dealing with ridiculous policies of IMF and IDB Inter-American Dev Bank. They pushing for more sweatshops Clinton-backed Caracol Industrial Park, more privatization run by criminal trafficking oligarchs, and spending on “inclusion”, basically nothing.

A lot of Nigerians lack the intellectual depth to understand what David is saying and you will always know them. They always believe the USA is the good guy.

Politics of underdevelopment…..there’s a book 📕 called How Europe underdeveloped Africa by Walter Rodney: thesis suggests that colonial capitalism had a suffocating effect on Africa's development, stifling its economic growth, disrupting its social structures, and exploiting

Unfortunately, ignorance has been one of the biggest obstacles in Nigeria, they won’t even let you educate them on what’s really going on. If you think Tinubu having a case file with FBI and still rulling Nigeria is a coincidence then you’re more foolish than you think. 🚶

The Western-biased education that the typical young Nigerian went through has left them ill-equipped to fully comprehend the issue of neo-colonialism that we are saddled with. Thank you, David, for all the work you do. We just need 20% of awakened persons, to turn the tides.

Well said, David. I think you actually meant "supposedly independent", not "supposedly democratic". I wouldn't be so bothered if the issue is just absence of democracy which as history has shown is not indispensable for development & prosperity. Nigeria is simply not independent.

It is unfortunate that 80% of Nigerians have no understanding of what David is pointing out here. Compared to other Africans, particularly East Africans, Nigerians lag behind in recognizing & grappling with d realities of neo-colonialism. Our level of naivety is truly alarming.

Very informative. You may have added that since the 1930s, the BBC World Service is also funded and part-governed by the UK foreign ministry, and is not regulated by @Ofcom, under which the domestic BBC falls. I’ve learned a lot about imperialism in Nigeria from you. Thanks.

The average educated Nigeria is educated to be subservient to the west, the likes of @DavidHundeyin and some of us have educated ourselves to be defiant to the imperialistic goodwill of the west and their gross misinformation to make us feel we need them. We don't need them.

David has always been saying the truth, most Nigerians are scared to accept. They eventually wake up to it when it's usually too late. The sooner we learn and realize these things the earlier we can save our country. Weldone David.

We have never seen anything like this in the history of Nigerian music, the @RecordingAcad @GRAMMYMuseum I'm 100% sure Grammy is coming to nigeria from this selection, to distract our youths and continue to keep them divided. Our Nigerian celebrities are puppets too.
