A human adults really should, at some point in adulthood, limit their daily carbohydrate intake to 100g/day before it's too late. This is the advice of @dlifein and @shashiiyengar and many others. Completely inaccurate on so many levels. Let's take the basic one - you can eat 100 gms of boiled potato but one would struggle to eat 100 gms of potato chips? Also if you manage to eat 100 gms of potato chips, it's likely that you won't want to eat anything else for half a day!
