In Europa we have something what it calls helmet.

Looks like a game-changer for cyclists! Anything that enhances safety and convenience is a win in my book.

I would even use it while walking around

i don't know if i want to look like a founding father while my head smashes the pavement without video of anyone taking a fall where the head takes any actual impact. none of these falls would be a threat to the head regardless.
