I am 100% with Pearl on this!! Men are screwed when it comes to support… the more you earn, the more you pay. The system makes it almost impossible to pay child support and spend time with your kids.

Creating a financial dependency exclusively on (mostly) fathers towards children (but giving the money to women) in social legal policy is a strawman. It breeds entitlement. Women now feel entitled to men's hard-earned money just for having a child, even if they are not in that relationship anymore! It's insanity, not equality. What should've happened is 50/50 care regardless of time spent. That is real equality. But by making it about money, it then financially incentivises women to "punish" men by withholding their own child to extort more money out of (now-hated) ex-partners. Nothing says I love money more than I love my kids—this is parental alienation (child abuse and post-separation domestic abuse by proxy).
