Time to retire the Steam Deck? 🤔 In all seriousness, it's cool to see iPhone finally getting proper emulators. Can't wait to see what the A17 Pro chip can run, maybe even PS3 games?

From this point, the fate of most more modern emulators comes down to if Apple will ever allow an emulator to use JIT compilers. For now that seems unlikely, as they've indicated the intention is to allow for "Retro emulators". Who knows though!

I've never tried retroarch myself do you have to put the emulator cores yourself or you just need the roms?

just the ROM's, and in the case of the PS1 and possibly others, the bios file as well.
