Asked why Israeli forces are using lethal force against starving Palestinian children trying to access food, the State Department spokesman replied: âIt is important to remember, though, that, as I said again, Hamas bears sole responsibility for this conflict. That is fundamental.â He offered no explanation for the killings, pointed to âcreative solutionsâ via the administrationâs $30 million boost to the Gaza Humanitarian Foundationâan initiative that has been widely condemned for failing to protect aid seekers or ensure safe delivery.

MSNBCâs Andrea Mitchell challenged the State Department over its continued support for the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation, citing widespread criticism from the UN and Arab governments over its limited distribution sites, denial of access to northern Gaza, and Israeli military control in violation of international law. Asked whether the program would expand distribution sites to meet Gazaâs needs, the spokesman gave no specificsârepeating that â46 million meals have been distributed.â Mitchell pointed out the number for a whole month doesnât add up to much and that 2 million people have gone nearly a month without consistent aid. @andreamodel_

Asked whether the U.S. is pressing Israel to lift restrictions on independent aid groups that were previously able to deliver food more widely across Gaza, the State Department spokesman made clear it is not. âWhat weâre pushing for is for other countries to support the Gaza Humanitarian Foundationâs work,â he said. When questioned about the lack of new distribution sitesâand growing warnings that existing ones have become âdeath trapsâ overseen by trigger-happy Israeli soldiersâhe responded: âHamas bears sole responsibility for this conflict⊠weâre seeing Hamas act in barbaric ways.â He also referred to reports of Palestinians killed while seeking food as âHamas propaganda.â @SMArikat

No questions about killing hundreds of civilians seeking the very aid and food GHF is allegedly providing? Thereâs a reason why the U.S. & Israel approve of the organization. Because it is a death trap.

No one should support a âfoundationâ thatâs getting hundreds of Palestinians killed for seeking its aid.

DRUGS IN THE FLOUR
