Three independent commissions have backed devolving policing to Wales. Scotland, Northern Ireland – even London and Manchester – have powers over policing. Asked if Wales should too, the Home Secretary says: “No I do not.” Labour has no respect for Wales.

“This flat refusal comes just days after the First Minister of Wales, Eluned Morgan, called for the devolution of justice, exposing the deep divisions and lack of coherence within Labour’s ranks.” @LSRPlaid

@wtg123 @LSRPlaid This Labour government supports devolution to the English regions but not to Wales? Where’s the Labour Party in Wales not standing up to this Westminster government that is undermining Welsh devolution?

@LSRPlaid Lived in wales all my life under an incompetent Labour/and Plaid I’m sorry to say I wouldn’t give any more powers to the Senedd they’ve messed up enough already and now their obsessed with ideology politics I dread to think of the spend and waste on the foolish and unnecessary

@LSRPlaid Couldn't even be bothered to discuss it. Another reason to vote Plaid.

@LSRPlaid Pure colonial arrogance @ShabanaMahmood. Labour @UKLabour @WelshLabour clearly want that coveted fifth place in the Senedd elections come May. If Wales can never be treated as an equal within the UK then independence is the only path to equality.

@LSRPlaid And the sane people of Wales have no respect for Plaid Cymru. You don't represent us, as seen with your EU and globalist allegiances. You're a bunch of clueless charlatans with no discernible talent.

@LSRPlaid The lie that there is such a things as Welsh Labour has been fully exposed. It’s the London Party and to them Wales is just a vote farm. They are in for a shock and they have nobody to blame but themselves.

@LSRPlaid Everyone is missing the most important thing of all. Reform of the police means NOTHING. Until such time as the judiciary and CPS is torn down and start again. Also human rights need to be put on a sliding scale, starting with the victims rights outweighing those of the criminal

@LSRPlaid So, Manchester has control of policing ... but Wales doesn't even though Wales makes its own laws. But then Manchester gets £2.4bn in rail funding and Wales gets £400m. Labour hate the idea of Wales being a nation. ... and they tell us Wales isn't treated like a colony.

@LSRPlaid Police reorganisation shouldn't be about politics or ' respect for Wales ' whatever that means . It should be about improving the delivery of the police service and nothing else.

@LSRPlaid The Hone Secretary has obviously worked out that the way other public bodies are so badly run in Wales, by Welsh Government, that law and order is well beyond their capabilities.

@LSRPlaid I'd have faith in more devolution if our leaders had a successful track record in running anything of note. The Economy, Education and Health have declined due to decisions they've made in Cardiff Bay creating a culture of dependency.
