Pakistani airstrikes in #Afghanistan have repeatedly killed innocent children, women, and civilians, without targeting even a single #TTP member. Despite PAK claims that the TTP operates from AFG, the 2,600-KM fence and numerous checkpoints along Durand have failed to prove this, as no TTP targets have ever been hit and only civilians have suffered. For years, the #Pakistan military has relied on creating crises to maintain its relevance, but it is clear that this issue cannot be solved through war. The real solution is dialogue with the Taliban in Afghanistan and with the TTP inside Pakistan. As Prof- Obaidullah Baheer has clearly explained, the claim that the TTP is based or led from AFG is baseless and only deepens the crisis.

🚨 So according to Zabihullah Mujahid and his people TTP isn’t a terrorist group because Pashto has no word for ‘terrorist,’ and the issue is purely Pakistan’s internal matter which is pure bullshit because if TTP is our “internal” issue then why are its leaders, camps and fighters sitting inside Afghanistan? An internal problem becomes a transnational security threat when the neighboring state refuses to take action against the groups using its soil. An internal problem does not require foreign launching pads. No country has the right to host groups attacking its neighbor and then call it an internal matter. And whether Pashto has a word for “terrorist” or not the world and UN calls TTP terrorists because they kill civilians. Pakistan sheltered 4 million Afghans, yet Afghanistan can’t stop TTP using its soil against us. Cross-border attacks are external aggression, not internal issues.

This video clip, which has surfaced on a Ukrainian Facebook page, is most probably of some members of the Russian forces captured by the Ukrainian army. The captured men are identifying themselves in the video. Most or all of them are not Russians. In the video, one captured man is saying that his name is Rana Mohammad Jewel and he is from Bangladesh. A Bangladeshi who joined the Russian army died in the war with Ukraine some time ago. It is apparently becoming clear that at least some Bangladeshis have landed in the Russian army against their wishes and got trapped in the war with Ukraine. There is a high possibility that these Bangladeshi men were enticed by human traffickers in #Bangladesh and/or the Middle East and ended up joining the Russian force. The government in Bangladesh should swing into action, track down all Bangladeshis trapped in the #Russia-#Ukraine war and make arrangements for their safe return to their families at home. The government should also launch an investigation to hunt out the agents or human traffickers who lured the Bangladeshi men and forced them to join the Russian army. The government should also launch an awareness campaign to warn the vulnerable young men in Bangladesh about the life-threatening risks of joining the Russian forces. One more thing: Does anyone recognise this Bangladeshi man named Rana Mohammad Jewel? Could you arrange to send this video to his family? Could you also let us or me know if he has contacted his family back home and is safe now?

#Taliban leader Muhammad Nabi Umati admitted that #TTP is operating from Afghanistan. However he claims that TTP has been present in Afghanistan since the Ashraf ghani era , he added that Pakistan is having border force and fences , they should stop TTP . Even if TTP infiltrates and kills your soldiers, who gave you the rights to conduct airstrikes in Afghanistan and kill civilians.
