Three reasons why she won’t have another kid.

This is why I choose not to have kids. It’s extremely demanding work, & I saw that firsthand growing up. Many of my teenage & early‑20s friends became parents, & none of it looked appealing. Society has a habit of glorifying & sugarcoating what parenthood really involves.

My friend said the same. She said she loved her child but if she could go back in time she would not be a mom. She never truly wanted to be a mom. She got pregnant by mistake and kept him. 18 yrs later she still only had that one child. She described what this lady said.

As the mother of one 20 year old, I agree. In addition to everything she said, it’s a lot to be responsible for an entire human being. That’s a huge responsibility and I’m just thankful mine came out good. If I had another one I might not be so lucky.

I’m a first time mom to twin boys and THIS IS IT! I would never put myself through this shit again. The amount of work it takes to get through one day is astonishing. I’m not drowning anymore as they are 7 months old but I’m also not thriving. I have no time for me.

She could’ve just ended it with “my personality, who I am, just doesn’t match with being a mom” and that was enough lol. I haven’t had a solid night’s sleep for God knows how long with a now 14 month old daughter and it doesn’t occur to me to complain about it. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I knew when I found out that I’m apparently immune to epidural drugs and had to push my kid out naturally. I was literally thinking as I was pushing “I’ll never do this shit again”

One thing wrong with our society is people have gotten way too comfortable telling the world things they should keep to themselves.

She’s so honest and that’s so important. Even though everything she said was really basic I don’t think a lot of people look into those points at all.

I admire people who are honest about sensitive topics like this. People love acting like parenthood is the best meanwhile we have a lot of parents who hate their kids, see them as burdens or don’t care about them.

I'm a single kid because my Mom had one kid and said she would absolutely not go through pregnancy or childbirth. I respect my parents for loving me and still telling me that they won't do it again and how much they hated it.. So Kudos to you..

An honest mom! This is why I did not have children. Most parents pretend like they don't want to run away at least once a week! It's hard! Doesn't mean you are a bad parent or dont love your kids. It means your human!

A lot of you in the comments assume that people who have children want children. This woman is up front about who she is. A ton of women regret having children once they start having them. Don’t assume just because someone has them, they want them or love them.

I respect it. I have 4 and it's exhausting mentally, physically, emotionally and financially. HOWEVER I'd probably have more if I had the money to do so. Everyone's different.

This is likely a socio-economic reason. If you are very wealthy and can afford household staff including day and night nannies, her decision MAY be different🤷🏾‍♀️

She said she was 21. When I was 21 I wasn't ready to be a mom. I waited & married the right man to have a child with, I was 29 when I had my son. I have never regretted any sleepless nights or care that he required. He's a grown man now that makes me proud.

All the shit she talking about doesnt last that long plus once they get older they actually help your life if you raise them that way ( these teachings actually help them become a functioning adult ) & all those thoughts are person to person cause my time is my time

I honestly don't know where I would be without my kids, they're so precious to me. They're grown now, and my daughter is about to give me a second grandson. My son doesn't want children so I'll only have two grandkids. I'm okay with that 💙💙

I just heard a modern selfish woman complain about having/doing something for someone else. Being a mother is work. Her ranting is lame. All she wants to do is spoil and call it raising a child.. what a joke 🤣 We didn't hear about the father's contributions. Single mom much?
