Otterly adorable news! Pintar, our four-year-old Asian small-clawed otter, gave birth to a healthy pup on November 18. Pintar and Sebastian are first-time parents and are doing exceptionally well, keeping the fuzzy male pup safe and cozy behind the scenes. Head Veterinarian Dr. Karen Wolf performed a wellness exam on the one-month-old pup, and it appears healthy, weighing just under one pound and exhibiting strong vigor, with a round, healthy belly. We believe the pup is male. His eyes are still closed, which is normal at this stage, and should fully open around day 45. For now, Sebastian, Pintar, and their pup will remain behind the scenes until the pup is older, more mobile, and the weather improves. Stay tuned to our social channels for more behind-the-scenes pupdates!

PUPDATE: Curiosity is kind of his thing. 🦦 Behind the scenes, the adorable small-clawed otter pup couldn’t resist checking out a training tube, something that’s been part of his world even before he was born! While the tube is used by parents Sebastian and Pintar during training sessions, for this little pup it’s just another fascinating thing to investigate. 💙 📹: Animal care staff Chrissy

Congratulations to David Puig on his second Asian Tour win in the last four months, earning him a spot in the The Open this summer. David has been working hard with Dave Phillips to develop mechanics that are not only more repeatable and consistent, but a better match for his movement capabilities (will share details in a future video). Just 22 years old, David has a bright, bright future ahead of him in pro golf.

Bumpy hasn't been in our care long, but he has already bonded quickly with his Keepers, Festus and Jackson. He peeks above the water to watch their comings and goings and loves to nestle between their feet. A forehead scratch is always well received too, thank you very much. In time, as with all the orphaned animals in our care, this dependence on his human caregivers for comfort will lessen. For now, while he's only just a month old, its vital to his progress. Discover Bumpy's story with us and find out how you can adopt him:

We’re excited to announce the birth of a new male lion cub at Zoo Knoxville! 🦁 Born on February 17th to first-time mom Zahra (ZARA) and dad Maji (MAW-GEE), this little guy represents an important step in supporting the genetic diversity of lions in human care and the survival of his species. Zoo staff monitored new mom Zahra around the clock after she gave birth. After about two weeks, they noticed she was having trouble producing enough milk and that the cub wasn’t getting the nourishment he needed. Our team stepped in, and thanks to the dedication of our veterinary and keeper staff, he is now thriving under human care and growing stronger every day. For now, he’s in our vet clinic receiving expert attention—growing, gaining strength, and even finding his little "roar". We’ll continue to share updates as he grows and will let guests know when he’s ready to make his debut to the public. Stay tuned and follow Zoo Knoxville on social media for the latest on this little guy’s journey.

A father in Lake Elsinore is raising concerns after his 13-year-old son was taken into custody by the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department and the child’s condition has not yet been verified with him. According to the father, his son was detained earlier today and transported by deputies. The father states that he has been waiting for more than eight hours to confirm his child’s safety and well-being but has not yet been allowed to see or speak with him. The father says his only request is to verify that his minor child is physically safe and not in distress. At this time, no public information has been released regarding the reason for the detention or the child’s current status. This situation has raised questions within the community about parental access, transparency, and communication when minors are taken into custody. Parents and guardians are encouraged to be aware of their rights and to seek legal guidance if they encounter similar circumstances. #grindfacetv

JUSTICE FOR TROOPER HAYDEN PHILLIPS. He was 27 years old and a father of three. He was doing his job on a Kentucky interstate when a driver shot him during a routine traffic stop. Three kids will grow up without their dad because some coward decided a badge was a target. The suspect is in custody, and now the system has one job. Charge him with everything, try him fast, and make sure he never walks free again. Kentucky owes that to Trooper Phillips and his family. Pray for his wife and kids, and back the men and women who still pull over every day knowing this could happen.

Tom Morello (Tom Morello) says his muse for his new album was his 15-year-old son Roman Morello who's gone on tour with him for the last three summers. "I would be with my ear to his door poaching his best riffs for this record. He contributed to five songs on the record, and we just got done with a run of shows and I've never been more excited or happier playing music and writing music than I am right now."

Campaign for little Amir, only 13 years old… He’s Rafif’s closest friend — whenever she sees him, she holds onto him tightly and insists he takes her to see the ducks or buy something small. Amir is one of Gaza’s children who have been deprived of everything — education, care, health, and safety. His hair has turned white from the fear and trauma he has endured for more than two years. Amir deserves life… deserves safety… deserves his childhood back. Let’s stand together today to support him and help save him from this nightmare. Every donation, no matter how small, can build a future and a safe path for this child. 🙏 If you love Rafif, please support her friend Amir, even with just 5 francs.

This Igbo boy got settled with N30 million and a shop from his Oga. And the Oga introduced him to his customer base nationwide. For context, if you earn N300,000 every month for 6 years, you will not even see N30 million. Igho apprenticeship system>>>>
