This weekend was truly special- Theo, playing quarterback, participated in his first flag football tournament, and the team advanced to the championship game held at Dallas Cowboys' practice stadium — a dream come true for my football-loving eight-year-old. Watching Theo and his team, the 305ers, showcase their determination, teamwork, and passion for the game was such a proud mom moment. Huge congratulations to Theo and the entire team for making it this far and giving it their all! 🏈✨

CJ Allen was a projected Round 1 guy all year and hurt his knee on Nov 15th. He could’ve shut it down to prep for the draft, but he played 13 days after knee surgery because he loves football and couldn’t imagine not finishing with his guys. That makes him a fucking dog. Allen didn’t go through full workouts yesterday or at the combine because his knee is still swollen. When he made those decisions in November he either a) knew it was possible it could effect his draft process but loves football too much to care, or b) was too fixated on his responsibility as a leader and a player to worry about anything else. However you do the math, he’s still a dog. Accounts like this want football players who love football right up until loving football changes how they workout in shorts. My guess is that the NFL team who takes Allen will be the kind who values tape over combine hype, recognizes his excellent football IQ, and wants players who love football because they love it instead of loving football for what it can give them. Those are the kinds of front offices who usually compete for championships. He seems to move just fine in pads

Riot over little girls getting murdered at a dance concert: Called fascists, doors kicked in by police and fast tracked through the courts and jailed for a long time to be made an example of Be a Muslim and riot over your country losing a football match: nothing. No press conferences. No political condemnation. A joke. All of them should be facing the same consequences as white British people faced when showing anger about the death of children

Tim Strachan was a T5 QB in the Class of '94 out of DeMatha Catholic High School in Maryland, an elite QB class that included Peyton Manning. Tim's CFB dreams were dashed when he was paralyzed in a diving accident just before his senior year. But he was undaunted, and used his story as a testimony that inspired countless people. Tim passed today. He was 49. Please watch Tim address a youth football team about the power of the game and its lasting lessons, and faith in Jesus. Rest in peace and thank you for your example of faith, family and football.
