According to the Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT): ✅India’s festive retail sales hit an all-time high of Rs 6.05 lakh crore this year. This is a 25% increase over last year’s Diwali sales of around Rs 4.25 lakh crore. ✅Of the total, about Rs 5.40 lakh crore was spent on goods and Rs 65,000 crore on services, making it the biggest Diwali business in India’s trading history. ✅Importantly, this #Swadeshi Diwali saw an overwhelming preference for Made-in-India products – roughly 87% of customers chose Indian-made goods over imports. ✅Beyond the revenue figures, what is heartening is the positive sentiment and optimism in the market. Trader surveys showed confidence at a decade high, with the Trader Confidence Index at 8.6/10 and the Consumer Confidence Index at 8.4/10. ✅The e-commerce space recorded a 24% year-on-year growth in volumes while gross merchandise value (sales) posted an increase of 23%. What do these numbers tell us? They tell us that our economic policies – including the recent GST rate rationalization - is having a meaningful impact. In fact, about 72% of traders surveyed by CAIT credited the GST rate cuts on items like daily-use products, footwear, home decor and consumer durables as a key factor driving the higher sales this year. So, the #GSTBachatUtsav which was launched by Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi was indeed a ‘Double Diwali’. - Smt Nirmala Sitharaman. #NextGenGST

✅ We were alive in 2014 when the Polo became the first hatchback to score 4 stars in the global NCAP and make airbags standard, while many were injured in similarly priced cars with no airbags, shamelessly selling with poor ratings for even the next 4-5 years. ✅ We had not been getting our cars repaired for peeling paint and rusting all these years. ✅ We were not having issues with malfunctioning airbag deployment and broken alloy wheels. ✅ We were avoiding cars that were exported as higher quality from India but scored only 3 stars with unstable body shells here due to relaxed norms. ✅ We were getting our cars serviced timely at service centers to record lakh of happy miles while enjoying technology shared with cars like Audi/Porsche within our budget. (Turbo Engines & Dual Clutch Gearbox) ✅ We were educating other potential buyers to prefer a better product with better build & dynamics because eventually more sales will result in a better ecosystem of resale, parts availability & FNGs. ✅ As fanboys, we got ADAS (AEB, Lane Assist), 6 Airbags & 4 disc brakes, pano roof in my T-Roc at 19.99 lakh in 2020 itself. Today, I am happily driving that car at 33,000 km. ✅ We fanboys have called out these brands' shortcomings too & do agree with many of your points, but we are so spoiled by the quality of drive, braking, stability, insulation, paint, build & handling on the highways that we immediately find same segment cars inferior despite being flexible to switch. ✅ The feeling of instantly overtaking 4-5 trucks with a 1.5 TSI Engine in M mode is worth a million dollars. We get 17-20 kmpl fuel efficiency too on the highways. This has pushed the competition to come up with performance cars. Competition helps! ✅ Our efforts have forced these brands to provide service packs with service costs as low as Rs 6500 per year and with a 4+3 years extended warranty including gearbox. ✅ We have seen people coming out miraculously safe from these cars at high speeds, so as family people, we are not able to overlook safety & handling factors and are adding hundreds of like-minded people to the community daily who own multiple brand cars but say VAG as their favourite. We are not here to downplay any other brand & will appreciate the competition like some brands are making 6 airbags as standard, CNG cars in budget, good AT under 12 lakh, affordable EVs, better quality interiors but will still pick VAG over anything else until they score more in multiple factors that we truly trust VAG for as of now. Outgoing Polo even after 14 years is still better than any hatchback that we have today just like ‘Old Monk’. New gen cars don’t always mean better. Don’t want to stretch this further. (Proud owner of 1.80 lakh km driven 4 VW Skoda cars with no major issues till date)

India's mobility revolution has entered a new chapter. 🇮🇳 Today, along with Shri Nitin Gadkari Ji, we witnessed the launch of Hero MotoCorp's Splendor+ and HF Deluxe Flex Fuel motorcycles, capable of running on ethanol blends from E20 to E85. This is far more than the launch of a new vehicle. It is the convergence of India's energy security mission, our commitment to clean mobility, and our resolve to build an #AatmaNirbharBharat. Over 300 million two-wheelers ply on Indian roads today. Imagine the impact when even a fraction of them begin running on fuel produced from Indian farms rather than imported crude oil. A decade ago, ethanol blending in India stood at just 1.5%. Today, India has achieved 20% ethanol blending, one of the fastest energy transitions anywhere in the world. The benefits are immense. ✅ Reduced dependence on imported oil ✅ Lower foreign exchange outgo ✅ Cleaner transportation ✅ Additional income opportunities for our farmers Every litre of ethanol blended into fuel reduces India's import burden and strengthens our energy independence. Our farmers are no longer only Annadatas. They are increasingly becoming Urjadatas, contributing directly to India's energy future. The scale of this opportunity is extraordinary. Even if flex-fuel vehicles account for just 1% of annual petrol vehicle sales, they can generate demand for nearly 4 crore litres of ethanol every year, resulting in payments of around ₹266 crore to distilleries, savings of approximately ₹195 crore in foreign exchange, and direct economic benefits of nearly ₹160 crore flowing to our farmers. Having witnessed Brazil's successful flex-fuel journey firsthand, I have seen how transformative this technology can be for an entire nation. Today, India begins writing its own success story. A future where Indian vehicles are powered by Indian innovation, Indian farmers, and Indian energy. The road ahead is cleaner. The road ahead is greener. The road ahead is more self-reliant. And that journey has begun.

Here is my GOALS review: GOALS (baring in mind the game released 3 days ago and they have ALREADY implemented positive changes) ✅Fast paced - responsive - FUN ✅Skill gap is CLEAR - especially in defending ✅Rewarding - nice passing sequence / dribble can lead to a goal and feels GOOD to score ✅L1/R1 dribble is super clean and nice for a good level of control ✅Multiple ways to score and break down an opponent ✅Progression system of players is good - loads of ways to earn packs/in game currency ✅Lots of objectives to grind ✅Ultimately - I want to keep playing matches. More matches. Ranked - Tournaments, I just want to keep playing. What I would like to see improved/implemented 🙏A way to balance your team rating vs opponents - match players based on skill AND team rating - it isn't fun matching someone with a MUCH better team than yours in ranked. 🙏Finesse is by far the best way to shoot, didn't personally find low driven shots effective at all - but that might just be me. As you can see, what I want improved is nit picking. Fair play to the developers and producers at GOALS - they set out with a clear agenda and their product has matched that👏 In my opinion this is not meant to be a FC rival - it isn't meant to be a football sim, ultra realistic graphics, lots of menu content...it is an arcade football game, built for competitive gameplay, built for playing FOOTBALL MATCHES not menu grinding...and most importantly, it is meant to be enjoyed when playing - which I am certainly doing right now. Verdict? Get me back in the game and let me play some more GOALS - I have a tournament to win 🏆

🇮🇳How India Is Turning SILVER Into Money India’s 2025 Silver Bomb: The Great Remonetization The Overall Goal India is officially turning silver back into money. ✅ The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) announced a landmark policy: starting April 1, 2026, banks can accept silver as loan collateral. ➡️ This "remonetizes" silver for the first time in modern history. The Key Policy: Banking Collateral 🔸A unified framework for loans against precious metals. 🔸Eligible collateral: Silver jewelry and coins (up to 10 kg per borrower). 🔸Loan-to-Value ratios up to 85% for smaller loans. 🔸Full borrower protections: collateral returned within 7 days of repayment. The Two-Layer Strategy Layer 1: Financial Inclusion ✅ Unlocks ~10,000–15,000 tonnes of household silver (mostly jewelry). 💰 Provides quick, low-interest loans to rural and middle-class families. ➡️ Expected impact: ₹50,000–100,000 crore in new lending by 2027. Layer 2: Strategic Reserves 🏛️ Banks collect pledged silver → creates de facto national stockpiles. 🌍 Aligns with BRICS de-dollarization efforts. ⚡ Complements booming industrial demand (AI, EVs, solar). The Numbers (Nov 2025) ✅ Household Silver: ~10,000–15,000 tonnes ✅ Annual Demand: ~3,500–4,000 tonnes (25-30% of global total) ✅ Silver Price: ₹1.9 lakh/kg (lifetime highs, up 40% YTD) ✅ Gold-Silver Ratio: ~80:1 (historical buy signal) Why This Is Genius 🔸 Unlocks "dead capital" for 100M+ households. 🛡️ Builds sanctions-proof reserves. 🌐 Sets global precedent for BRICS nations. 📈 Massive bullish implications for silver prices. ➡️Paves the way for silver as collateral for other monetary instruments India has triggered a monetary revolution by turning household silver into bank collateral, unlocking trillions in hidden wealth while positioning silver as a strategic asset in the new BRICS-led financial system. #Silver #India #BRICS #MonetaryPolicy #Investing #Commodities #RBI

Skoda Kylaq quick observations ✅ Fine styling, reminds you of Kushaq in a good way. No quirky elements. ✅ Smart design bits like broader & blackened front grille to make it look wide, clean C pillar quarter glass area unlike Kushaq where it is blackened with plastic. ✅ Interior quality feels solidly put together, layout looks practical and overall the cabin looks classy for 4 passengers. ✅17 inches alloy wheel enhance the looks and fresh alloy design looks very upmarket in person. ✅ Practical safety and convenience kit on offer in the variant that was displayed. 6 airbags & 25 other safety features as standard and features like wireless connectivity, digital cockpit, electric sunroof, two ways steering adjustment, ventilated seats, auto dimming IRVM, electric adjustable seats, 60:40 split rear seat, 446 litres of boot space makes it a desirable package. ✅ 1.0 TSI with 178 nm torque in MT and AT makes it a worthy package for customers looking for performance. (I own Skoda Slavia AT 1.0 but yet to drive Kylaq). Car is priced 30% lesser as compared to other GDi Turbo cars in the segment. ✅ As expected, build, panel gaps, inner wheel cladding, paint, interior fit & finish, boot carpet/cloth material, felt near perfect while doing a quick 10 minutes walkaround. ⚠️ Competition is already offering Panoramic sunroof, 4 disc brakes, 360 degrees camera and ADAS too. Customers looking for such features might need to rethink. ⚠️ As per our community feedback from 3 lakh impressions, the rear design is getting polarised opinions. ⚠️ With a Turbo only on offer for now, it targets a thin set of customers. Under 4m segment cars already have a diesel, ev and CNG offerings too. ⚠️ Skoda missed a trick by not talking about ownership cost with service packs & extended warranty upto 6 years in the presentation. With hype around, it was a golden opportunity to address doubts of first time buyers. ⚠️ Rear wiper looks cheap. 5th passenger will be a squeeze but there are 3 headrests. Overall, a great effort from Skoda and it shows that want sales numbers to improve by catering to the different set of customers with a wider portfolio. Overall the vibe was positive and the product looks desirable.

"If a female wants a female only space or sports opportunity she is owed that by federal law, state law, and common sense. Anything else is discriminatory, illegal, and wildly regressive" Our referendum restores Title IX in Maine & reclaims the sex-based civil rights of ALL kids Leader of the Maine Girl Dads, and the Protect Girls Sports in Maine ballot referendum, testifies on 4/14/2026 in front of the Judiciary Committee. The ballot referendum simply harmonizes state law with federal Title IX, ensuring that sports & private safe spaces in schools are designated by Sex. Testimony from dozens of girls, parents and advocates on 4/14 in Augusta made it clear that: 🚨Males are in female private spaces (bathrooms and locker rooms), every day. This is commonplace 🚨Males have been reported to be masturbating in female safe spaces at school (as testified by school children and parents), in addition to many reports of voyeurism 🚨Males are competing in and winning female sports, including the girls' state championship in high jump last year 🚨Young female students stay quiet and are scared to bring this up, as adults have made them feel as if THEY are the problem for not being OK with males in their safe spaces and their sports 🚨Many females are experiencing mental trauma from males in their private spaces and sports The ballot referendum to "Designate School Sports Participation & Facilities by Sex" protects the Sex-based Civil Rights of ALL kids: ✅The act designates all competitive school sports and safe spaces (bathrooms, locker rooms, showers) by Sex. ✅Nobody is banned. Ever. Everyone plays sports and accesses private spaces, simply designated by Sex. ✅This is inclusive: everyone has a Sex, Sex is not Gender (definitionally, legally, scientifically), and there is no right or wrong way to be male or female (look, feel, present, even identify however you want). Sex is big enough for everyone. ✅Nobody is banned. Ever. Everyone plays sports and accesses private spaces, simply designated by Sex.

JOCHEN STAIGER'S BOLD CALL: SILVER TO $208, GOLD TO $10,150! Swiss precious metals expert Jochen Staiger announced his chart -based forecast in an interview shortly before the current rise in silver prices – and it's explosive. With silver recently dipping but still way up from last year's levels, he sees massive upside ahead. "This is cheap now," he says. Buckle up for his targets that could redefine the metals bull run. SILVER: FROM CURRENT LEVELS TO THE MOON ✅ Right now on the chart: around $74. ➡️ Next stop: about $164 soon. 🎯 By Christmas this year: $184 per ounce. 🔥 Then climbs to $208 – his chart target for 2027 at the latest. 💥 He even thinks we could hit these levels THIS YEAR. 📈 "We will see $200... possibly $300 in silver." THE $70 ZONE IS THE LAST BARGAIN ✅ Staiger calls $70 "cheap" for buying. ➡️ That's the level to hold – if it does, straight up to higher targets. 🤯 Remember: Silver was at $64 on December 3rd last year. 🔄 Now people cry "crash" after a pullback – but he says this is the gift. GOLD: STEPPING STONE TO FIVE-DIGIT TERRITORY ✅ Intermediate targets: $6000, then around $6780-$6880. ➡️ Next major leg: up to $7880. 🚀 Long-term chart vision: $10,150 by around 2029-2030. 📊 His previous $5600 call last year? Nailed it exactly. CHART CONFIRMATION & TIMING ✅ Point-and-figure charts look clean for both metals. ⚡ Possible last dip attempt around Chinese New Year (mid-Feb to early March). 🛡️ After that thin trading in Shanghai – could be final chance below $70 silver. 🌟 Technicals scream bullish – no major red flags. THE MINDSET SHIFT ✅ A year ago, $70 silver would have been laughable high. ➡️ Now it's viewed as a steal. 🔥 If COMEX breaks or fails, anything goes – even GameStop-style squeezes. 💡 "I close nothing out anymore." THE BOTTOM LINE Jochen Staiger's technical analysis paints a clear path: silver exploding toward $200+ this year or next, gold charging to $10k+ by decade's end – all backed by solid charts and a market that's only getting started. This is what happens when someone makes sweeping claims without looking at the complete evidence. At least do your homework before speaking with such confidence. Since you've raised these issues, let's examine the facts. You claimed that E20 reduces mileage by 15–20%. But your own calculation contradicts that claim. Ethanol contains roughly 33% less energy than petrol. Moving from E10 to E20 translates to an expected difference of about 3.3%, which is consistent with the government's estimates. So where did the 15–20% figure come from? There is no credible evidence supporting it. You also claimed that pre-2023 vehicles are facing a nationwide engine crisis because of E20. If that's true, where is the evidence? The transition to E20 did not happen overnight. It began gradually in 2021 before becoming the standard. More than 20 crore two-wheelers and over 20 lakh cars have been operating on progressively higher ethanol blends for years. If there were a widespread engine failure issue, it should be visible in large-scale service data and independent reporting. Then there's the forex argument. Here, you compared a one-year estimate with a cumulative figure covering multiple years. That is not a like-for-like comparison. The reported savings of approximately ₹1.90 lakh crore in foreign exchange and the replacement of 310 lakh tonnes of crude oil cover the period from 2014–15 to May 2026. Comparing that with a single year's data creates a misleading impression. Finally, you argued that older vehicles are increasing India's petrol consumption because of E20. But that conclusion depends on a mileage loss that isn't supported by the evidence you've cited. Meanwhile, data and statements from manufacturers and industry bodies indicate a different picture. So the real question is simple: Who should people rely on? The engineers, researchers, manufacturers, and testing agencies that have spent years evaluating these vehicles and fuels— Or claims that are not supported by comparable data and verifiable evidence? Before making alarming claims, it's worth ensuring that the facts actually support the conclusion. Arvind Kejriwal should note this.
