The past year has seen me have a renaissance, in the truest sense… I won’t go into details now but will at some point before long. What has brought so much happiness to my life and those around me this past year has been my falling back in love with sport. Cycling has, and always will be, my number one. If you listen closely with headphones, he doesn't pronounce the M and makes a 'ruary' sound like February. I looked into Sunflowers in February and this book came up. Makes perfect sense with his recent interviews and meaning of other songs in the album. A shock came just a day before my birthday. For the past 4 days, I wasn't feeling well. On Friday, I decided to go for a full-body check-up. The reports came in yesterday, and my hunch was right. It wasn't just laziness and tiredness I've been diagnosed with the early stages of jaundice. My liver is weak, and I can't eat oily food. No protein. No gym. Only rest and boiled bitter gourd and boiled bottle guard😭 Today is my birthday. I slept for 3 hours and woke up feeling tired and weak. I didn't want to go out and celebrate, but around 9,but my mum and dad were all dressed up and waiting. So I got up, tore the tags off my new pair of pants and shirt, and we went to a low-key restaurant. I'm glad I did. I'm feeling much better now. This is how I celebrated my 28th birthday. 😅

I bit the bullet and set Jackson up with a driver fitting this evening. I knew he hit it far, but didn’t know any of his numbers. Spoke to the pro after the fitting who sent me this video: Fastest swing was 118 mph. Ball speeds mid 160s into the 170s He has been playing my old clubs which were stiff shafts so he was a bit wild off the tee before. Fitter fit him into a Titleist driver head with an X-stiff shaft. Got the spin rates down to the low 2000s and he said Jackson’s control with the Titleist was remarkable. I am sooooooooo screwed. I could out drive him before because I could control my spin. I figured my older head and weaker shaft was hurting him. I could watch his semi-weird swing all day long. His back swing to me, while on plane, does not look very powerful, but his lag is sooo natural and he uses his 6 foot, 210 pound frame to send it. So awesome to see him playing the game again! #NonGolfHistory
