“Pakistan Army is running ISIS Camps” Afghan security forces have arrested a member of ISIS who had been trained in Pakistan. The arrested individual, Saeedullah, a resident of the Mohmand Agency, admitted in the video that he had been sent to Afghanistan using a fake identity card. He stated that he first received training in another group before being transferred to an ISIS training camp. Saeedullah also revealed that during the training, young men from Pakistan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Turkey, and Russia were present. According to him, ISIS has several active centers in Pakistan, where they train youth aged 16 to 30. This comes a day after unknown armed men assassinated Nasrat, a senior ISIS official under the support of the Pakistani army. Nasrat led an ISIS center in Pakistan known as “Pahlawan” and was a key member of ISIS-Khorasan. In the past month, this was the third incident in which ISIS leaders were targeted in Pakistan. As pressure on ISIS increases in Afghanistan, the group has relocated its centers to Pakistan.
