Lying about having a seat where you can’t see the game doesn’t help anyone does it

Are you thick? It literally says restricted view…

Every club says that, including yours. There’s no seats with restricted views, they was removed years ago

I go every year. You can’t see the goal by the away end from different angles. Which is fine, but shouldn’t be £42

Restricted sight means from some seats you can’t see the goal line which is such a non issue and something every club in the league mentions when buying tickets including yours. It should be £42, the size of our stadium we have no other choice

So you’d be happy paying £42 to go up to Boro? Then Blackburn? Then every fortnight following your team away? Clubs are taking the pi** (especially with teams with big followings) and the more it goes on, the more expensive it’ll get for fans.

But it’s not every week you only pay them prices twice a season (us and Millwall) Boro and Blackburn can charge half what we do and still earn more

Cracking boro accent that go support ya local team ya soppy cunt.

What part of Middlesbrough are you from 👀

You aren’t being fleeced though. If you don’t want to pay it, don’t pay it. Nobody forcing you with a gun to your head.

That’s not the point. It’s not a dig at QPR. It’s across the board. £42 to watch two Championship teams is criminal. Even more so when you can go to Anfield for £30…

@dansheppard1985 It’s a false equivalence mate. How many does anfield hold? How much TV money do Liverpool get? At the end of the day that’s the economics of football. If you don’t like it, no one is forcing you to pay it…

@dansheppard1985 Completely missed the point, as most QPR fans have in this thread. A few Blackburn fans got it and agree though, at least

@dansheppard1985 Mate please just apply your brain to your comment. You’re comparing ticket prices at QPR with Anfield. It’s just basic math

@dansheppard1985 So you don’t think football is becoming a money-grabbing p***-take?

@MattWinton2 @dansheppard1985 Becoming?

@MattWinton2 @dansheppard1985 *has become/is

Tickets should be capped at £30 our prices are outrageous but hay ho if it funds a winger or a striker then I hope fans have deep pockets

Fair play 👊

A price cap for away fans needs to happen in the EFL

Too right. I’m a Blackburn fan and it’s a fucking joke. The only ones losing out are the fans, we’ll be charged more at Boro because we fucked the Boro fans over

One sensible person in the comments, at least. It would be the same if it was the other way round btw. Pricing is ridiculous

Why are you sat in the concourse anyway?

Better view than the seats tbf and to get away from that geezer with the sombrero. Tbh he usually shuts up after 10 mins when you’re 2-0 down

Just not true is it, it’s one of the closest away ends to the pitch in the league and you’re in the upper so you can see the whole pitch. Biggest myth away fans put up every season. And leave him alone, he’s just having his fun 😂

It's not just the EFL, In Scotland Hibs fans were charged £39 three weeks ago for a ticket at Ibrox. Prices across the UK are an absolute disgrace. I've just been to see my team in Kosovo and Macedonia in Euro qualifiers and tickets for both games were less than £5 each.

£25 at the bowl⚒️

We will be there 🤝

The EFL clubs voted to cap away ticket prices at £30 last season to align it to the Prenier league pricing and clubs like Middlesbrough, Blackburn, Birmingham & QPR voted against it. That’s why we’re all being fleeced

Spot on Olly 👏 I think fans need to rally together to boycott these ridiculous prices.

It’ll never happen. Just need EFL to cap like the Premier League

£20 is plenty.

It didn’t just happen out of no where in the Premier League. Fans came together and organised. Will need collective action from EFL fans.

You definitely won't see the goal if you sit in the concourse. You're right though. Outrageous prices.

First QPR fan that actually gets what I’m saying. It’s not just you lot, it’s across the EFL. Crazy prices!

The same price as the upper jack walker which is always open

I fucking knew it they they would start crying about away prices at qpr

@EFL need to get a grip on this - it’s bloody ridiculous!

Loftus road is more iconic than any of those stadiums though 😇

There really is only one way to stop this but nobody seems to want to make it happen. Hard to do, I know BUT not paying it is the only way they will listen.

Yeah you’re right. I’m not actually there this year as I’m away, but would’ve been if I wasn’t. Only way is to not go, but for clubs with big followings that is difficult!

30 quid your having a laugh unless you pay 80 to 120 quid membership fee

seats you get at Peterborough. With a steel post in view

The spider webs add a nice touch

efl tickets are more expensive than serie a tickets

Why do you care? With that accent you should have Loadssssaaaamoneeeeey!! Bosh

You’re an idiot mate. Sorry. But you just proved it. £42 anywhere is a lot for a ticket but you really don’t know the stadium

I go every year. I watch us beat you every year. Mrs family are QPR. I’ve sat in every stand. I know the stadium 👍

That, my friend is a decent response. I take back my ‘stupid’ comment and my sensitivity.

Appreciate the reply. Football is always the winner! 🤝🤣 Good luck for the season… I think you could actually surprise a few people

I’m a pessimist with QPR. I’ll wait til you beat us again lol

How much are tickets for Chelsea? 🤔

£30.

Did you really think I wasn't aware, last 2 times I've been to Chelsea, away fans are put in the Shed, still are. Prices start at that price for the cheapest matches, go up to £70 plus for the more expensive matches. 🙄

Yep, capped at £30.

👍

Same for us mate found out today… ask them idiots though and they’ll say “don’t come then” or “because it’s London” Never known a thicker bunch.

@Gethin_ccfc Mate, check the comments. Full of thickos 🥴 It’s not just QPR, it’s football in general…

🤣🤣🤝

It’s subsided by the premier league. Sadly the funding isn’t there for the EFL to make this happen.

as a QPR fan I totally agree. its very poor

I paid £39 in the home end Blackburn fan. The EFL have driven the prices up this season with the new financial rules
