Ticketmaster has repeatedly allowed bots and scammers to take tickets away from the loyal fans of artists like KidRock. I am leading a hearing right now to demand answers from Live Nation on why they are putting scammers before consumers.

Ticketmaster has failed to provide transparency and fairness despite many chances to resolve issues with bots and scammers. It’s because they would lose resale revenue, and it’s why Republicans and the Trump administration are demanding accountability.

Live Nation took no accountability for refusing to protect consumers. According to the FTC it was company policy to turn a blind eye to brokers and bad actors buying up tickets while fans suffered the consequences. I pushed for real accountability to protect artists and fans.

Investigation finds it was Barack Obama who allowed Ticketmaster and Live Nation to merge, become a monopoly and destroy the music industry After the merge, Live Nation CEO Michael Rapino earned $70.6 million in 2017, one of the largest CEO pay packages ever recorded “Ticketmaster and Live Nation can basically do whatever they want because they have seized control over every aspect of the live music industry by creating a monopoly. This ticketing cartel has the power to destroy venues and artists who refuse to work with them even have their own resale platform and they encourage and incentivize ticket resellers to gouge fans” This show our politicians actually work together to protect monopolies instead of stop them

Musician Kid Rock, legally known as Robert Ritchie, testified on Capitol Hill Wednesday over his concerns about the resale ticket market pricing consumers out of live events such as concerts. "We can't get the tickets into the hands of the fans at the prices we set," he told CBS News' Nikole Killion. "They need to enforce the Bots Act, but I don't know if that fixes it. It's a great step, and the bots need to go, period." Sen. Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) led the hearing before the U.S. Senate Commerce Committee advocating for more enforcement of the Bots Act. "We need Ticketmaster to clean up their website," she said.

You shouldn’t have to pay a small fortune to see your favorite artist in concert. Instead of giving consumers the relief they deserve, this Administration settled the Live Nation/Ticketmaster case. Fans deserve better—and I’ll keep fighting for real competition.

Some individuals are using automated bots to process tickets at high speed 🎟 These bots allegedly help users secure tickets unfairly and resell them for profit, putting genuine fans at a disadvantage and causing major disruptions in the digital queue Do not buy from these sellers, don’t contribute to the problem 🚫

They often prowl along the exit area of Kuala Lumpur and ask for money They have some sob story of running out of money in Genting Casino and haven’t eat for a few days. Once they earn the victim’s trust, they promised to send money to the victim if they help them. Is it common now in the US? Or have you encounter it in your country? Share your thoughts and experience. What we knows is that the countries hit are those countries that recent go VISA free with China.
