I bet this teacher doesn't have any gay pride flags in her classroom, nor does she indoctrinate the children she is teach and probably doesn't use there "pronouns". Bravo to this teacher, critical thinking, reading comprehension is lacking in classrooms today!

8th grade math teacher gave us a similar "test" and that would have been about 1967. So it's sure not something new. Yes, I read the instructions. Good thing too 'cause math isn't my best subject and the questions were tough.

You laugh but I actually had a professor do this decades ago. Being border line perfectionism back then I started to read and couldn't believe my eyes when half way down the list it said "ignore everything, sign the top and turn in for a prefect grade" Do I stop reading, do I sign it? Still remember signing it and walking down the stairs of the lecture hall, all eyes on me, whispered conversations from every corner as I placed it on the desk and exited the room. Got my perfect A! Amazing how hard that hit, still remember it today!

How come my teachers weren’t this hot?! I was robbed

Simple exercise that those kids will carry forever. Cheers to the teacher!

This would be a good one for the first day of school. I think they'll read them next time in her class and throughout the year.

She's so good looking! No wonder they skipped over the quiz.

In my high school physics class, our teacher gave us a quiz like this. He said to read it carefully before filling anything out and to FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS. He also said that it would count as an exam grade. The VERY TOP line said, “Fill out your name and today’s date, then place the paper face down with your pen on top of it.” There were questions like, “Walk to the window and write down the first thing you see.” “What did you have for breakfast?” “What’s the capital of Kenya?” “Who was president of the USA in the year 1874?” “What’s your favorite color?” and, “How much did you weigh at birth?” There were three of us in a class of about twenty who completed it correctly; we were flabbergasted that everyone kept getting up and looking out the window. Meanwhile, the ones who failed to read the instructions were snickering at us, thinking that we were going to fail. He graded it as pass fail. Some of the “smartest” kids in the class got a zero for an exam grade.

My teacher did this 40yrs ago. It taught me to read directions. Hers read print your full name and turn it in. I had finished the test before I read it.

@BertJohnso21094 Had this quiz in fifth grade, I was the only one to follow the directions

Why didn’t any of my teachers, in any of my classes, look like her?

@BlaineCincycath I work at a school. I get your frustration. So let’s look at what was achieved with that stunt: You taught children they can’t trust authority, to be good little soldiers who obey or be punished, and you used them for a big dose of self-righteousness. F-

Very interesting. Most people do not read the entire directions given.

Men generally don't read instructions...unless they can't figure it out

Black finger nails?

Wow! High school? This test (similar) was administered to 4th graders in our elementary school in the ’60s and ’70s. Learning this lesson has saved me numerous headaches throughout my life.

Great work teacher

My 4th grade teacher gave a similar quiz to us. Yes, I was a sucker, along with a few others....it did not teach me anything but humiliation and more dislike for the teacher.

We did this in second grade. Even then less than half the class got it right

I think that she should have given everyone a calculator and a protractor, at the beginning, to make them look even more stupid.

I don't wonder at this.

Jayzus… this is nothing new. I got at least 4 quizzes like this as a kid 40-ish years ago. Guess what! Most of the kids never read the directions back then, either.

Seems accurate

I had a teacher try this when I was in high school. It was ineffective then and now. Teaching someone a lesson like this is for the teachers ego. They are to teach not play a game like this.

That’s a great learning tool please follow directions🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

That was cool

Kids nowadays are cooked. I wonder how their life will work out when they grow up!

I’m 71 and a teacher in 7th grade did this. Made a lasting impression on me!

@JtShaggy Teachers dont read directions when it comes to tipping

lol!!!

Brilliant!

She may think she just thought this up, but I got the exact quiz in 7th grade (1967)
