What the hell do we do now? Where do we go from here? What happens next? Who is supposed to pick up the microphone? No one will ever be able to fill Charlie’s shoes. No one. But I can’t think of anything that would fill his heart and make him prouder than the generation he inspired to pick up the torch and carry it forward. To continue this mission he gave his life for to speak the truth and to fight against evil, to fill the hearts of the world with courage and the love of God. This is the Turning Point of our time. I don’t even know if Charlie intended for that name to pack such a punch, and maybe it seems even more important now, but amid the expected and disgusting hate comments in the wake of Charlie’s death, I am floored and inspired all over again by the thousands of posts I’ve seen from our generation saying that this is their personal awakening to get in the arena, to be on the frontlines of this culture war, and to speak out in courage no matter what the backlash that comes next might look like. And I guess that’s the answer. Who picks up the microphone from here? Who keeps speaking the truth when the world needs it the most? Who keeps pushing back against evil? YOU. You do. We do. Charlie always believed this - that anyone from anywhere can inspire the world if they just have the courage to do it. I've been a Democrat most of my life. I view myself as outside it, but I don't like watching the Democrats just commit suicide. At this point, given the fraud, waste and abuse we know is there, 90% of the country's like, get rid of that fraud, waste and abuse. I just view this as yet another example of the progressive left boxing themselves in into a suicide dance. What the progressive left should be doing is saying, okay, Elon, you're clearly the most qualified person in the world to do something like this. We want a dialogue with you about how you're doing and what you're doing. I don't believe that actually happened. I like Elon. I think he's obviously the most important builder in the world. But I don't believe my former side is actually engaging. What is the biggest problem in this society? From my perspective, it's the legitimacy of our institutions. Why aren't they legitimate? Do any of you really believe that 99% of your taxpayer dollars are being [well] spent? There are two revolutions happening. One is transparency, and one is AI. So, why is it that we do not know where every penny of our money goes? Slightly more technically, what large language models do is they mean you can go into the contracts and see exactly what happened. In the past, we couldn't do this. Now we can. The right response is that we want this to happen. We want to be involved in the dialogue. Tish James, who was a very vocal backer of yours when you were running for mayor—and even a backer of yours when I think it was pretty politically controversial to be so—had this to say. She said she and other political leaders she’s spoken to are disappointed in Zohran Mamdani. “All of us are a little frustrated with the Democratic Party, but you don’t blow it up. That’s what MAGA has done.” What do you say to that? Mamdani: I think, what is the Democratic Party if not its voters? And what we saw yesterday evening were Democrats across the city turning out and voting for a new kind of politics. And I’ve been clear time and time again that I believe the only majority in our country is that of the working class. And what we saw is that a focus on the working class. And I have a deep amount of respect for my friend, Attorney General James. And I also believe that these are the kinds of candidates that we need to see in Congress, as well as the five state legislative candidates that I endorsed that also won yesterday evening. I made a promise to New Yorkers that I would use every tool at my disposal to actually transform this city into one that they could afford. And one of those tools is using your political capital to ensure that the people who will fight hardest for that same agenda are going to be there, whether it’s in Albany or whether it’s in D.C.

Regardless of what you think of Charlie, no man deserves to be shot like this, especially someone who has done so much for freedom and has inspired so many young minds across the world. When I refer to the so-called “loving left”, I mean those who identify with a new kind of 'left wing': hateful and soulless individuals who believe that people like myself, Charlie, and many others deserve death simply because we are labelled BY THEM “far-right fascists” - when in fact we are the opposite. These people are mentally unstable, yet they preach nothing but “openness, acceptance and love.” Enough is enough - this goes beyond politics, it is a battle of good and evil. This is so hard to watch, and it should be a stark reminder of the importance of free speech and the danger of allowing the state to divide us.

Or we can learn from this moment. I — you mentioned history. I was a kid when, we went through a period of assassination in the 1960s. I remember when Martin Luther king was killed. Robert Kennedy went onto the streets of Indianapolis. He was a candidate for president at that time and it was very, very dangerous, frankly, for him to be out there. But he insisted on going, and he spoke to the crowd and he finished and I wanted to share this. He finished with a poem by Aeschylus, the ancient Greek poet. And it was, “even in our sleep pain which cannot forget falls drop by, drop upon the heart, until in our own despair, against our will comes wisdom through the awful grace of God.” The question is, have we seen enough to embrace wisdom here and recognize that this is not a path that we want to go as a country? And let's be clear, I heard what those folks said. We've had political assassinations of Democrats and Republicans of the left and the right. This is not something that is exclusive to one or the other, but I will say, if we continue to embrace this notion that if we disagree that we're not only political opponents, but you are an enemy, you are an evil. You want to destroy the country. You want to destroy our way of life. That is a prescription for disaster.”

I shared a video from Nick Freitas yesterday about how to encourage and reach young men. You should check it out if you didn’t see it. Now, here is a clip that shows how to repel and discourage young men. This is so frustrating, Sean DeMars and Neil Shenvi. Leaving aside the whole “woke right” thing, whatever. You acknowledge that the Left has total cultural control. Then you mock the idea that white men are systemically discriminated against in our culture, or that we live in an effeminate gynocracy. What do you think the Left does with its total cultural control? You mock young men by claiming that their discrimination has no basis in reality, but has to be understood via some “gnostic” higher knowledge. This is not fair. We are starting to get more and more hard data on this issue. I will admit that there is an element of “look around, this should be obvious.” It should be, and you’re really sticking your head in the sand to deny these things. But being on the Right is to believe in God’s created reality. It’s not about “lived experience,” it’s about what is actually true. White men are being discriminated against in this culture, and the West has been feminized radically in the last 60 years. The biggest problem with the woke was always that they were wrong, beyond even their philosophical system. It wasn’t merely that they were claiming to be oppressed, but it was that this claim was wrong. "This argument sounds like that argument" is just so lazy when one was factually wrong, and one is factually right. The claims of the Right are correct in general. But at the end of the day, good luck crapping on young men like this. We'll see how that works out for you. I won’t be joining you.
