Universality is key and we all need to start realizing that at a fundamental level.

Absolutely correct there are administrative costs to means testing and families who are most in need are leads likely to complete the required paperwork. Just feed all the kids don’t make parents jump through hoops.

In a world where making more money means losing benefits, reducing means testing would impact society greatly. If Republicans would like to increase the fertility rate and everyone wants more time with their newborns, parental leave would be a real winner.

This is the kind of action and results voters want to see too. Less talk, more action, positive results. Don’t get weighted down by policy and bureaucracy, actually do something!

Make all programs universal and get “less deserving” people’s share back through taxation.

Universal healthcare shouldn't be controversial. Every human on this earth has at least 1 health issue with their body. Its an abomination its not yet guaranteed from birth to death.
