ONE OF THE WORST CALLS IN CFB HISTORY: Throwback when Cooper DeJean had an insane punt return touchdown but somehow the refs called it back for a fugazi fair-catch call. 😳😳😳 One of the best returns ever — that should’ve counted.

Victor Robles was a sneaky key piece in today's game -- with two diving catches that Dan Wilson said were the types that "breaks the back of the other team." Per Statcast, the first had a catch probability of 10% and the second was 20%.

One of my absolute favorite things about yesterday is the moment after contact where everyone in attendance registers that this ball is playable and Pete’s gonna catch it. The catch is *the moment* but that split second of realization is so cool.

How in the world is that NOT a late hit out of bounds? Brandon Powell was two steps into the white area & it was a blast too… The #Vikings getting screwed early hopefully means they won’t get screwed late…

Efton Chism on his one-handed TD catch to help seal the Patriots win in Buffalo: “When I'm out there and the ball's in the air, I kind of black out. I kind of in that little flow state… Drake gave me an opportunity. You gotta come down with those opportunities. Don't know how many your gonna get." - CLNS Media Sports Network

Q: Was there a particularly memorable moment working with the members on this album? Tyler Spry: There’s a video that’s gone around on the Internet when I was writing with V, James Essien and Sean Foreman. That video is not the making of any of the songs that made the album, but it was one of the most fun days I had in the studio with the guys. We were just jumping up and down, singing the songs. I think that it was one of the freest days we had in the studio, creatively. So I do hope that song gets to see the light of day.

UCLA star Lauren Betts was taken out in the 1st quarter of the National Championship after telling the bench that she had something stuck in her throat. UCLA staff gave her an inhaler and examined Betts until she returned to the game in the 2nd quarter 🙌

I had the incredible honor of working on DEATH BATTLE!'s Ruby vs Maka. It was only a few shots, but this is the one I'm most proud of. Jetz (Luis Cruz) did an incredible job on this fight and put everything he had into making it! He wasn't the only one either, everybody knocked it out of the park!

Pete Crow-Armstrong did it again yesterday, snagging this Mike Trout rocket that had a catch probability of just 35%. Nobody makes plays look easier (so easy that many don't believe the numbers). Just check out how fast he's already moving when the camera gets to him, his brilliance is in the first second of the play into his top 1% speed.

This is the kind of play that eye testers have a hard time with, but also shows why catch probability is so useful. This ball had just a 55% catch probability, and is just made to look so easy by Ceddanne Rafaela. It's all about what you don't see on the screen, because it happens before the camera is on the play. The jump is 9.0 feet above average. He was positioned well into right-center. Lesser outfielders win catch on the week on this one with a full extension dive.

Fair Catch Kick… In the NFHS RULE BOOK there is a strange rule, that I personally had never seen. By rule, a team that makes a fair catch on a punt is allowed to attempt a “free” kick from the spot of the fair catch on the next play. The free kick must be either a place kick or a drop kick. If the kick goes between the uprights, they get three points! This is Pee Dee Academy in South Carolina executing this play last Thursday with 1 second on the clock for the win.

Had a good walk and run at Tholkappia Poonga, the eco park created within the 358 acres Adyar River estuary. This stretch, known as the Adyar Creek, is one of the last remaining natural wetlands in Chennai ,a fragile ecosystem on the coramendal coast that once supported diverse bird (migratory) and aquatic life. Years of urbanization and pollution had severely degraded the creek. The Adyar River Restoration Trust,by Gov of TN, has been doing phased restoration over the years. One only wishes to see both rivers fully restored with River fronts from their source to the end. Entry is limited and requires an online pass. It would be great if the park opened at 5:30 a.m. instead of 6:30 am. Overall, a much needed green space with crumbling city infra no walkable pathways.
