I get that the child (still have a hard time calling him Grogu…) was popular and they wanted to sell toys. But I can’t process how we went from an adaptation of Wolf and Cub with a masterful aura of gritty western to, well, whatever the heck the rest of the series became and whatever the movie turns out to be. Obviously special mention to Luke’s hallway scene which just kind of stands on its own apart from everything else.

Mando started as a badass gunslinger, but has been reduced to a quirky dad. But Grogu isn't to blame: even after adopting him, the Mandalorian still looked cool and acted tough until season 2. It's Lucasfilm that decided to dumb down the character in season 3 and in this movie.
