“Every day gets better for us.” Those were the words of the Democrat leader one week into this shutdown, reflecting on the supposed benefits of the shutdown for Senate Democrats. But thanks to Senate Democrats, every day is getting worse for the American people.

A very simple breakdown about the government shutdown. This is what the Democrats are fighting for.

What’s Moving on Monday: Democrats kept the government closed for 41 days only to accept the same clean resolution Senate Republicans offered the first week of October. This shutdown was unnecessary, harmful, and avoidable from the start.

We already know how the Democrats operate. They will shutdown the government in October. Let’s get ahead of it and start working on a CR next week so federal workers keep their paychecks and government doesn’t shutdown…AGAIN.

SHUTDOWN: Only seven Democrat senators are needed to keep the government open. WIthout their votes the government will shutdown. Even CNBC is calling out Democrats for pretending they can't stop the shutdown. Leader Jeffries and Schumer will own this shutdown 100%.

Chuck Schumer has dragged America into a sixth week of this Democrat Government Shutdown, the longest in US history. The impact has been horrific, and it will only get worse. It is time for Senate Democrats to DO THEIR JOB and reopen the federal government.

During the last shutdown, Democrats defeated the Shutdown Fairness Act twice — which simply pays government employees on time. Now, Democrats have shut down Homeland Security, forcing essential workers to continue working without pay. This all could have been avoided had we passed the Shutdown Fairness Act.
