Time For Ubuntu to Drop Firefox? With changes to Firefox's Terms of Use, many Linux Distros (Fedora, Mint, & others) are now shipping Spyware. Plus: Tech News media rushes to defend Mozilla.

Every Linux distro has to drop Firefox, if you ask me. They should ship with @brave or hardened chromium like Trivalent as the default.

This has nothing to do w/Firefox being spyware. Distros don’t care about that. Manjaro & Fedora do opt-out telemetry upon installation. Plus, all of these distros are run by ppl w/the same Baizuo mentality as the mental case zie/zems at Mozilla. That’s why they’ll defend Mozilla.

Every distro should have dropped Firefox when they proved to be deplatforming and censorship apologists
