True, kinda. Time is elastic. In a car crash time slows down, everything is in slo mo (been there). Also special moments when you are fully there. Presence stalls and slows time. It's those moments you really live. A life is measured in these moments.

How would you feel if I gave you a million dollars today? Happy, right? What if I said you wouldn't wake up tomorrow if you took it? Would you still accept it? No sane person who values life would. Your life is worth more than a million dollars, yet we often treat our time as worthless.

I'd say focus. You don't live the life you experience. You live the life you focus on.

Everyone knows this to be true, but most don’t act like it. This message really gets burned into you if you’re intentional about noticing your surroundings. For example, my 2 year old daughter is growing up way faster than I imagined. Her laugh, little bike, and soccer ball noises that fill my hallways up will be gone at some point down the road. Eventually my house will be quiet, that realization is when you truly become a time “billionaire”.

I used to waste time on distractions. Then I started tracking how I spent my day. I found hours lost in small things. Like water slipping through fingers, time fades fast if you’re not careful. Value it. Protect it. Use it wisely. How will you spend your time today?
