🧸 “how do you feel after getting lasik? is it good?” i’ll tell you guys this! before i got my tonsillectomy, i looked up a lot of vlogs and…a majority of people said that they felt like they were going to die so i was really worried before the surgery but i’m tolerant to pain so it was better than i excepted…my mom always made porridge for me so i ate that well too, ate it for every meal, took my medicines and left the humidifier on so…of course it hurt a bit because i got surgery but it wasn’t that bad 🧸 but after i got my lasik eye surgery, my eyes and nose were running for 6 hours straight and you know how your eyes really hurt when you make eye contact with the sun…like you tear up and your eyes hurt…it was that feeling for 6 hours straight like even if i had my eyes closed, it felt like the sunlight was inside my eyes and i was fighting it for 6 hours straight 🧸 so for the tonsillectomy, i couldn’t eat what i wanted and i couldn’t talk so that discomfort was the thing that was hard…it didn’t hurt but for the lasik eye surgery, my eyes really hurt a lot! the really fascinating thing though is that i was like “mom, this is so hard!!” for 6 hours and then i got tired of it so i fell asleep and when i woke up after 3 hours, i could see the world really well, i was fascinated and was like “mom!! it doesn’t hurt at all anymore and i can see things very well!!”

This is probably my stopping point right here, as I've been working on this for the last four to five hours, and the costs of spending more time on this are outweighing the benefits. The issue I'm running into now is that it doesn't seem to be agentic enough to be able to do stuff on its own that is meaningful, such as build apps generatively and take my feedback. I do think that the technology has a lot of promise, so I will check back in a couple weeks or months to try and pick up where I left off.

Timelapse of my Judy with books: 58 hours of work sped up to 14 minutes. I didn’t cut anything so all mistakes are visible. Hardest parts were the nose fur, fur between the ears, and eyelashes. I often wanted to quit, but my love for Judy helped me finish it. 🥲

Picked up STALKER 2 on PS5 and I am having a great time, It is a hardcore survival shooter. I played it for a few hours back in 2024 when it launched but hopped off it due to how unpolished & buggy it was, so glad that now, it is in a far superior state and runs perfectly!

Mark Mastrandrea is building something special with Open Residency so I had to make the trek up the 110 fwy to get in the arena. 3 hours later I feel like we put together some solid tape. One of the most satisfying things I’ve done so far is change my job minimum from $150 to $200. I can’t put a finger on why, but $200 just seems like so much more worth the time. This is a video of a full process making $200. The video was 7 minutes before I sped it up.

This is from around 1am last night, June 21st. I set the Sionyx Aurora up to record and headed in to bed. This is 29 minutes of footage sped up 10x. That's Scutum in the background, South of my location and not very far above the horizon in the South. Maybe 30 degrees. I was trying to take some photos of the milkyway when I noticed how busy it was. My photos were useless with the number of lines across the frames. So I switched to the Sionyx instead.

Client wanted a hot tub in their backyard. We don’t typically do hot tubs so I threw $47,000 on the estimate and the homeowner accepted. Have you played Droid Tycoon in Fortnite yet? I played it for 2 hours on my stream tonight and it was SO FUN!!! I literally can't wait to play it again. If you like Tycoon games this one is on a whole other level. Just the fact that it's Star Wars themed automatically makes it really cool to me but seriously the mechanics for how everything works is so amazing. The sound design is REALLY satisfying and awesome too. I'll be playing this on stream again on Sunday. I can't wait.

1 hour in 1 minute started at 13,740 ended at 24,720 in 1 hour with 6x multipliers i made 10,980 the goal was 30k but genuinely this was so brain numningly boring that it actually brought my mood down lol, still crazy that at the rate it took me to do this it would take me 7 ish hours to get to 70k, and i rly dont want to sell my one and only halo just so i have something in my pocket. just saw the double exp weekend thing so ig i'll redo an hour or something when it comes out. yay, i can get to 70k in like 3-4 ish hours instead of 7. im just so sick of this. i dont feel like i can be excited for updates anymore because in order to interact with anything new in the game i have to waste hours of my life on actually nothing. this hour i could've been like oh i dont know, actually playing the game. working on my dorm, making an outfit, but yk i only did this to get that one val top bc thats the only one i find worth spending a full on hour to get bc it looks like something ill use often.
