Authorities formally announced charges on Tuesday against Tyler Robinson, the man accused of assassinating Charlie Kirk. Utah County Attorney Jeff Gray explained how investigators were lead to Robinson after a manhunt following the September 10 shooting at Utah Valley University. Really can’t stress how devastating this revelation from Baron Coleman is to the “unofficial” Tyler Robinson timeline. I say unofficial timeline bc the most damning Discord chat message- the one leaked to and published by Ken Klippenstein on September 16, isn’t actually referenced in the Utah County probable cause court filing. No Discord chats whatsoever are mentioned there. There is a Discord chat mentioned in the booking charge, but it gives no specifics. If Tyler Robinson was in custody at 6:25 MST on September 11, 2025 he could not have written that supposed confession message. So if he didn’t write it, who did? Who had access to Tyler’s account? Who was Klippenstein’s source? That message has been used to convict Tyler in the court of public opinion. Where it originated is extremely important to figure out.
