#WATCH | Chennai, Tamil Nadu: On Bihar elections, Congress MP Karti Chidambaram says, "...My reading is that the vote share of the Congress Party was intact. Our vote share in 2020 and the vote share in 2025 is identical. The same is the case with the RJD. What has happened is that the LJP, the Ramvilas Paswan Party, which is headed by his son Chirag Paswan, in the previous election contested separately and in this election they aligned with the NDA. They were handsomely rewarded by given 29 seats and they converted 22 seats. That additional 5% vote made a crucial difference, and also the NDA was able to align with some smaller political formations, which are quite community-based, and have dedicated vote banks which went to the NDA. Further, the 10,000 rupees direct cash transfer, in my opinion, was also perhaps a motivation for a significant number of women to vote for the NDA. And the AIMM contested separately again this time, which took away some of the votes which would have naturally come to the Congress. So it's only a combination of these factors which has led to this result..."

Most Andhra Pradesh politicians have permanent residences in Hyderabad. Their kids go to school here. Their business thrive here. A frustrated BJP, its State and Central leadership & its Union Minister, Kiren Rijiju are resorting to brazen and blatant lies to malign the Congress Party and me by falsely attributing statements to me. BJP & its lying Ministers should know -: 1. I was not present in the Assembly when discussion on the Bill took place. 2. I have never stated that the Constitution will be amended in any manner to give religion based reservation. Historically, Baba Saheb and Congress framed the Constitution and BJP’s parent organization opposed it. Even till last Parliament, BJP wanted to change the Constitution and was asking for 400 seats to deny rights to poor and underprivileged. To hide their sins, they are now accusing the Congress and me. Also, reservation in Karnataka is given based on criteria of backwardness. 3. BJP is peeved with the 5 Guarantees of Congress which transfers over ₹52,000 CR to the poor and underprivileged. The sinister design is to somehow abolish the Guarantees, which will never happen and can happen over my dead-body. I will continue this fight to defend the guarantees and these conspiracies of BJP will fail decisively.

In the name of the SIR process, official Enumeration Forms collected from voters have reached the hands of the TDP/MyTDP team in Atmakur constituency. Private persons are sitting inside the Secretariat and openly entering voter details into the MyTDP App. When questioned, they reportedly say they came because Anam sent them. How did confidential SIR forms, collected as part of an Election Commission process, reach the hands of TDP-linked private persons? YSRCP has already submitted multiple complaints to the Election Commission regarding the illegal use of the MyTDP App in the SIR process, political interference by TDP leaders, pressure on BLOs, and misuse of official election machinery. But till now, no serious enquiry or visible action has been taken. This inaction is emboldening the ruling TDP. They are misusing power, officials and government premises to divert voter data into their party app and target votes opposed to them. This is not a mere local irregularity. This is a direct attack on the neutrality of the electoral roll revision process. The SIR process is supposed to be under the exclusive control of the Election Commission. It cannot be converted into a TDP data collection drive. It cannot be allowed to become a tool to identify, target and delete the votes of YSRCP leaders, cadres, supporters, sympathisers and voters opposed to the ruling party.
