🚨 #BREAKING: Helicopter crashes into Hudson River near NYC. 6 on board—pilot + 5 tourists from Spain (2 adults, 3 kids). At least 3 dead. FDNY performed CPR on a child; survivors in grave condition. Witnesses saw chopper split in two. #NYC #HudsonRiver On April 10, 2025, a tragic helicopter crash occurred in the Hudson River near Lower Manhattan, New York City, prompting a swift response from emergency services and drawing significant attention from media and social platforms. This report provides a comprehensive overview of the incident, synthesizing information from news articles and X posts to ensure a thorough understanding of the event as it unfolded by 4:28 PM EDT. Incident Details and Timeline The crash was reported just before 3:30 p.m., with initial alerts from the New York Police Department (NYPD) and Fire Department of New York (FDNY) indicating a helicopter in distress in the Hudson River. According to ABC News, the incident occurred near Lower Manhattan, while ABC7 New York specified the location as near Jersey City, New Jersey, highlighting the proximity to both states across the river. The crash time aligns with reports of a loud noise heard around 3 p.m., as noted by witnesses in nearby areas. Passenger and Casualty Information Initial reports varied on the number of people on board. Early accounts from ABC7 New York suggested four people were pulled from the water in unknown condition, but later updates clarified the total as six: one pilot and five passengers, comprising two adults and three children, all identified as tourists from Spain. This detail was confirmed by ABC News, which reported at least three fatalities, with survivors in grave condition and transported to a local hospital. The presence of children was particularly noted, with X posts from accounts like ExxAlerts and RedWave_Press mentioning FDNY performing CPR on a child, aligning with the passenger manifest including three children. The discrepancy in early reports, with some X posts like BackfireBros mentioning five people involved and unconfirmed reports of fatalities, was resolved with later news updates confirming six on board and three dead by 4:15 PM, as per a Hoboken Girl article citing ABC7NY. Emergency Response and Witness Accounts Emergency services responded promptly, with the FDNY and NYPD on scene, alongside the Coast Guard, which stopped vessel traffic and established a safety zone to facilitate rescue operations. An X post from NYPDnews at 3:37 PM warned of traffic delays near the West Side Highway and Spring Street due to the crash. Witness accounts, as detailed in ABC News, included reports of hearing "five or six loud noises like gunshots" and seeing the helicopter "fall out of the sky," with pieces detaching before it crashed. Another witness, Sara Jean Raymond, as per ABC7 New York, saw the plane go down and attempted to call 911, expressing shock at the event. X posts like RedWave_Press shared video footage showing propellers detaching and the helicopter splitting in half, corroborating the visual accounts. Contextual Background This incident adds to a history of helicopter crashes in New York City, with ABC7 New York noting at least 32 deaths in such incidents since 1977, the most recent being in 2019 when a pilot was killed hitting a Manhattan skyscraper roof in restricted airspace. The Hudson River has seen previous aviation incidents, such as the 2009 US Airways Flight 1549 ditching, but this crash's proximity to urban areas and involvement of tourists underscores its severity. Developing Story and Future Updates As of 4:28 PM EDT, the story remains developing, with investigations likely to focus on the cause of the crash, potentially involving mechanical failure or pilot error, given witness descriptions of the helicopter splitting. The Citizen App, as mentioned in ABC7 New York, showed footage of emergency response, and media outlets like Lauren Glassberg from ABC7NY were providing live updates from the Hudson River banks in Jersey City. Further details on the survivors' conditions, exact casualty figures, and official statements from authorities are expected, with this report serving as a snapshot based on available information at the time.

🇺🇸 🇮🇱 THIS IS INCREDIBLE: HAS MAMDANI FINALLY COMPLETELY LOST HIS MIND?! A New York socialist mayor just threatened to arrest a foreign leader on US soil! Think about that. Zohran Mamdani, New York City's brand new democratic socialist mayor, is "actively discussing" with city lawyers whether he can arrest Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu if he visits for the UN General Assembly in September. Not contemplating. Not thinking. Actively discussing. Let me be clear on what's happening here. The US does not recognize ICC warrants. Never signed the Rome Statute. The UN Headquarters Agreement explicitly grants diplomatic protections to visiting leaders. A New York City mayor has ZERO jurisdiction over international visitors to the UN. This isn't a legal gray area. It's not even close. But Mamdani doesn't care about law. He said Netanyahu "belongs in The Hague" and is a "war criminal." He's been saying this since his campaign. He's been doubling down since taking office. Even his own allies told the New York Times that arresting Netanyahu is "not a priority." Rep. Jerry Nadler, a Democrat from NY, had to explain to Mamdani that the city literally has no authority to do this. Senator Ted Budd introduced legislation to defund cities that attempt it. Here's what Trump did: He didn't mince words. "Benjamin Netanyahu will not be arrested, in any way, shape, or form, while in the United States of America." Direct. Decisive. Netanyahu responded that he's not concerned and will come with Trump. This isn't about politics anymore. A sitting US mayor is threatening to violate international law, undermine diplomatic protections, and arrest a world leader because he disagrees politically. That's not governance. That's radicalism. And Mamdani represents everything wrong with the DSA takeover of Democratic cities.

🚨 URGENT UPDATE: The situation for minorities in #Bangladesh , particularly in #Chittagong , has deteriorated alarmingly following the denial of bail for Chinmoy Krishna Brahmachari: 1️⃣ Police Brutality: At the judge court, peaceful Hindu community members gathered to catch a glimpse of Chinmoy Prabhu, with some even attempting to lay down in front of the van taking him to jail. In response, police went rogue, launching a brutal baton charge against the group. Scattered and fleeing through alleys and lanes, the community members were further attacked by police and Islamist mobs, leaving many wounded. 2️⃣ Islamist Rampage: In Chittagong, extremist groups continued their violent rampage, burning temples, looting properties, and committing arson in Dalit areas, resulting in devastating losses. 📹 Graphic footage captures the harrowing brutality of police assaults on unarmed protesters and the destruction caused by the Islamist rampage. This orchestrated violence and systemic oppression are clear attempts to silence minority voices and perpetuate persecution against Hindus and other vulnerable communities. 🔴 We demand immediate international intervention to protect Bangladesh's minorities and hold those responsible accountable. #SaveBangladeshMinorities #SaveChinmoyPrabhu #HumanRights #StopTheViolence Chief Adviser of the Government of Bangladesh Ambassador Brent T. The U.S. Special Presidential Envoy for Ukraine, General Keith Kellogg Keith Kellogg, is in Kyiv today. I am grateful for a constructive meeting. We discussed various vectors of cooperation – how to achieve real peace and guarantee Ukraine’s security. These include projects within the PURL initiative for financing production and procurement of Patriot systems, strong bilateral agreements on co-production of drones and weapons that we have proposed to America. We count on a positive response from the United States. We had a substantive discussion on stepping up pressure on the Russians and what we can do together with partners in tariff and sanctions policy to enable a meeting at the leaders’ level at the earliest and bring this war to an end. A trilateral leaders’ format is undoubtedly the most effective. We also discussed the return of abducted Ukrainian children, international cooperation on this track, and the conditions in which our children are being held. I expressed condolences to the American people over the horrific murder of Charlie Kirk and thanked President Trump for his condolences and response to the brutal murder of Ukrainian citizen Iryna Zarutska in North Carolina. It is important that justice prevail every time violence seeks to take hold. We are also preparing for the 80th session of the UN General Assembly in New York. We discussed planned events, coordination between Ukraine and the U.S., and work within the Coalition of the Willing. We are working on potential meetings and various formats.

America Is Closed: The Tourists Are Going Elsewhere! While America turns visitors away, the rest of the world is having the time of its life. Europe recorded 793 million international tourists in 2025, up 6 percent on pre-pandemic levels. France alone welcomed 102 million visitors, generating a record 77.5 billion euros in tourism revenue. The tourists are out there. They have money to spend and planes to board. They are simply choosing not to spend it in America. International arrivals to the United States fell for the ninth consecutive month in January 2026, down 4.2 percent year-on-year. Global tourism spending grew by 6.7 percent in the same period. The world is traveling more than ever. It is simply choosing not to travel to America. The Canadian Collapse Canadians, historically the single largest source of foreign visitors to the United States, have stopped coming. Road trips across the border fell 30 percent in the most recent month. Air travel from Canada is down 24 percent. Airlines cut 450,000 Canada-US seats in the first quarter of 2026 alone. The projected damage from the Canadian boycott stands at 5.7 billion dollars. “In my 37 years in the travel industry, I have never seen anything like what the Canadians have pulled off,” said Amir Eylon of Longwoods International. “This is one that’s being felt, and it’s not going away quickly.” The cause is not mysterious. Trump floated annexing Canada as the 51st state while slapping punishing tariffs on Canadian exports. Something snapped. Sixty-two percent of Canadians now say US policies have made them less likely to visit. Snowbirds are canceling Florida. Some are selling their American vacation homes. Toronto-Cancun is now Mexico’s busiest international air route. Europe and Asia Turn Away Germany, France, and the United Kingdom have each updated their official travel advisories for the United States. German visits fell 11.6 percent in 2025. France lost around 950,000 visitors. One European tour operator summed it up: “Five years ago, the United States was the go-to destination. Now, many of our clients are choosing destinations that are easier and more welcoming.” China and India, the two great growth engines of global outbound tourism, both recorded steep declines in US visits. India’s drop of 15 percent in mid-2025 was the first since the early 2000s. They are simply choosing destinations where entry does not feel like an interrogation. Chinese arrivals to Europe are projected to grow 28 percent. Indian arrivals, 9 percent. What Has Actually Happened The United States did not lose its beaches or its national parks. What it lost was its reputation as a country that wants you to come. A travel ban covering 19 countries, biometric requirements on all non-citizens, widespread detention reports, and a proposed rule requiring Visa Waiver travelers to submit five years of social media history: these are the choices that produced this outcome. The World Travel and Tourism Council estimates that social media rule alone could cost 15.7 billion dollars and 150,000 American jobs. New York City lost 4 billion dollars in tourism revenue in 2025. Nevada’s hotel industry recorded a 6.7 billion dollar shortfall. The 2026 FIFA World Cup was supposed to be the redemption arc. It isn’t. Five countries have issued travel advisories warning citizens about attending games on American soil. Hotel bookings in host cities are running behind projections. The tourists are not gone. They are in Mexico, Japan, Portugal, and Spain, spending freely in places that do not require them to prove they are not a threat. Trust is slow to build and fast to lose. Right now, the United States government is doing everything in its power to signal that it does not particularly want them here. The world, it turns out, is listening. Europe 2026 looks great ☀️🍻🍾 Stay connected, Follow Gandalv Gandalv

[SBS News] BTS V's self-composed song 'Into the Sun'... appears in G7 Summit welcome video The song "Into the Sun," co-written and composed by BTS V, is garnering attention after being used in a video related to the G7 Summit. On the 16th (local time), French President Emmanuel Macron released a video on his official social media welcoming the leaders attending the G7 Summit held in Evian, France. The video featured the leaders of each country appearing one by one, with music symbolizing their respective national images and cultures used as background music. In particular, BTS's "Into the Sun" played during the scene featuring President Lee Jae-myung, drawing significant attention. The National, a prominent English-language media outlet in the Middle East, reported that President Macron selected music tailored to the nationality, culture, and image of each world leader. According to the report, BTS's "Into the Sun" was used for South Korean President Lee Jae-myung's video; Tom Petty's "Love Is a Long Road" for U.S. President Donald Trump; the James Bond theme song "The World Is Not Enough" for British Prime Minister Keir Starmer; and Celine Dion's "Jueire Ou Tou Ira" for Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney. "Into the Sun" is a track from BTS's studio album *Arirang*, with V participating in the main songwriting and composition. It is known that V completed the song based on a melody that came to him on his way back from a workout. He previously stated regarding the song, "Although it is a song I created, I thought I needed to make a cold, objective judgment on whether it fit the album," but it was ultimately included due to the active recommendations of the other members. Following the release of 'Arirang,' 'Into the Sun' received favorable reviews from major international media outlets. The U.S. daily newspaper The New York Times described it as "a hypnotic song that puts the mind at ease," while the music magazine Rolling Stone noted that "the falsetto harmonies and sparkling tempo demonstrate BTS's infinite potential." The BBC in the UK also introduced the track as "an experimental yet intriguing song that adds a mysterious atmosphere through digital effects." (Article: #BTSV #INTOTHESUN #ARIRANG

As VChK-OGPU and have discovered, Denis Alimov, a Russian citizen detained in Colombia at the request of the United States, was an employee of the FSB Special Purpose Center several years ago. The United States believes he is involved in terrorist activities and the preparation of the kidnapping or murder of "prominent individuals" in Europe. According to leaked documents, Alimov served in military unit 35690—the FSB Special Purpose Center, the base of the Vympel special forces unit—until at least 2022. Alimov's call sign was "Aryan," and judging by his interests, he was involved in underwater operations. Colombian authorities detained Denis Alimov at El Dorado International Airport in Bogotá on charges of conspiracy and financing terrorist acts. He arrived in Colombia on a Turkish Airlines flight. Alimov is wanted by the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, which issued a warrant for his arrest on December 18. The US believes that Alimov participated in a conspiracy to murder or kidnap two individuals "well-known in Europe" from October 2024 to March 2025. Alimov provided technical information and recruited others for the operation. The indictment alleges that he wired approximately $60,000 to the perpetrators. This was an advance payment. The total fee for each victim was $1.5 million. One of the accomplices was arrested in March 2025 in New York.

🚨It’s 2:30 a.m. in Tehran, and here are my 12 key observations from Day 15 of Iran’s protests (January 11): 1️⃣ On the fifteenth day of protests in Iran, following the fourth nationwide call by Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi, demonstrations and strikes continued across multiple parts of the country. A strike by truck drivers and shopkeepers in Shiraz began on Sunday morning. At the same time, people took to the streets in several cities, including Tehran, Bandar Abbas, Abdanan, and Shahsavar. Crowd sizes in Tehran remain notable and significant, but smaller than yesterday. 2⃣ Late last night, Iran International confirmed that at least 2,000 people have been killed in Iran—a figure described as conservative. At the same time, horrifying new videos and images emerged showing families of the victims gathered at forensic medicine centers, with hundreds of bodies laid on the ground. The scale of the killings has plunged Iranian society into deep shock and collective mourning. 3⃣ Following the release of these images, regime state media and officials implicitly acknowledged the occurrence of mass killings—without providing figures—while attempting to deflect responsibility. They claimed the bodies were “left behind by rioters” and denied the government’s role. Simultaneously, President Masoud Pezeshkian, the regime’s so-called reformist president, alleged that protesters had beheaded people and burned them alive. 4⃣ Field reports indicate large gatherings in Tehran neighborhoods including Punok, Shahrak-e Beheshti, Saadat Abad, Ashrafi Esfahani, and Pirouzi. In Shahsavar, protesters lit fires and chanted “Javid Shah,” while heavy gunfire can be heard in multiple videos. In Abdanan, large crowds attended the funeral of one of the victims, chanting “Death to Khamenei.” 5⃣ Protests continued across Iran until around 2:00 a.m. This morning, new videos emerged from Behesht-e Zahra cemetery, where families chanted “Death to Khamenei” during burial ceremonies. Regime forces responded by attacking mourners with tear gas and paintball guns. Meanwhile, strikes by truck drivers and shopkeepers continued in Shiraz. In Tehran, protesters reportedly renamed a square from the name of Khomeini’s grandson to Pahlavi. 6⃣ Iran’s internet shutdown remains in place. According to NetBlocks, more than 72 hours after the blackout began, national connectivity is still at around 1% of normal levels. Due to the outage, information is emerging slowly and with delay, and very few reports are reaching the outside world from smaller cities. 7⃣ Coinciding with the fifteenth day of Iran’s national uprising, solidarity rallies by Iranians abroad continued in hundreds of cities across Europe, the United States, Canada, and elsewhere worldwide, in support of the Iranian people and Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi. These demonstrations, however, received limited coverage in major Western media outlets. 8⃣ Judiciary Chief Gholam-Hossein Mohseni-Ejei once again instructed prosecutors to show “no leniency” toward protesters. He further stated that authorities should even pursue individuals who have taken ambiguous or non-committal positions on the protests. At the same time, the head of Iran’s police announced that the crackdown has entered a new phase, while regime media reported widespread arrests in multiple cities. 9⃣ Despite widespread public outrage over the killing of protesters, the regime declared three days of public mourning for several of its own slain security personnel. In parallel, the Islamic Propaganda Coordination Council, the regime’s main propaganda body, called on regime supporters to gather tomorrow at 2:00 p.m., carrying Qurans and condemning the protesters. 🔟Internationally, as supportive statements from Donald Trump and Senator Lindsey Graham continue, some observers believe U.S. military action is becoming increasingly likely. Iranian activists, however, are calling for heavy strikes against the regime’s repressive institutions, urging Washington not to limit its response to symbolic actions. 11. Following yesterday’s revelations, a wave of condemnations from global politicians has emerged. Iranian diaspora activists argue that statements of concern are no longer sufficient, calling instead for concrete measures such as expelling regime diplomats, providing Starlink internet access to Iranians, and holding the regime accountable for crimes against humanity. 12. Outlook: The number of cities actively involved in protests has declined noticeably following the recent mass killings, and regime media are openly celebrating what they describe as a victory over the protesters. Nevertheless, significant gatherings continue in Tehran. As of this hour, no new call has been issued by Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi. It is likely that protests will persist in the coming days in certain areas, though in a more fragmented and localized form. The key question remains whether meaningful international intervention will shift the balance in favor of the Iranian people.

Flights in and out of Yemen’s Sanaa International Airport were suspended indefinitely following an Israeli airstrike that inflicted extensive damage. The strike also hit a nearby power station, deepening the disruption. 9.
