💬 Tip: You can embed a Custom Agent chat in any page. Handy for wikis, onboarding hubs, project docs, or anywhere people have questions!

We use this feature quite a bit lately. I wish there was the option to have it open the agent in the side view instead of taking people to the agent page. It is a little jarring.

Good feedback. Shared with the team 🫡

How are credits calculated for custom agents? My Business plan gives 300 credits/month, but a small project used over 200. At $10 for 1,000 credits, a few hundred dollars a month won't be enough. Please clarify.

Shit like this is why I use Obsidian now

Embedding agents directly into pages is a strong step. The bigger unlock is when agents don’t just live inside the workspace they can own parts of the workflow with shared context and memory.

Embedding Notion Custom Agent chat where the question appears removes context switching. The trap is stale authority: a confident answer can outlive the page it came from. Show the source blocks, their last-edited dates and a clear ‘I don’t know’ state when the workspace disagrees with itself.

Wouldn’t be better if it doesn’t open in a full page?

Placement matters more than the model here. Questions get asked where the work happens, and an agent sitting one tab away gets opened roughly never. The thing to watch is that it inherits whatever the page says, including the parts nobody has touched since the last carrier or policy change. We started stamping a last-verified date at the top of every ops doc and asking the agent to quote it in the answer. Slightly annoying, but it's the difference between a helpful answer and a confident wrong one about a rule that changed in March.

Would love to speak to someone at Notion to demo Kognis ;-)

Hmm... I've not been able to do this with my Personal Agent. So just Custom Agents?

Please give us little people a way to import content from other sites - a way that actually works.

Cool!

student version of this: drop one in your course hub page so "wait when is that lab due" gets answered in the same doc instead of three tabs later. underrated for group projects too

Embedding an agent right into any page, super handy feature.
