Cutting out all refined and simple carbohydrates goes a massive way to CURING type 2 diabetes and fully managing type 1 diabetes I am on a full keto diet and have managed to bring my A1C down to 4.5 while using minimum insulin, something that is impossible to achieve for T1D’s with a carb heavy diet.
