nice pilot parallel pen. Have you tried fude nib fountain pens? I think you might enjoy the extra dimension of control they provide compared to a parallel pen.

I tried one once and it blew up on me! I should probably grab a new one and try again haha

Tbh using a LightBox doesn’t make creating smooth lines easier- but it certainly helps with not having to free hand something over and over again as you refine it.

that makes sense!! if anything I did not think it helped make them smoother cause I've noticed whenever I do trace, I tend to have wobbly lines since I'm too focused on staying on target vs keeping the motion of my hand fluid 😅

Should mention ghosted lines and drawing from the shoulder for the line practice which can help get the arm motion down

“I hate AI” and she has the most copyable wanna be Sanrio style in the world. Perceive to also trace over the drawing. She doesn’t even have the ability to be original. And she’s using they them pronouns to even be more of a snowflake. This gets laughable more and more
