Tausif is not a new face at all , he has been active in TMC’s ecosystem long before Debangshu. Anyone checking his older posts will understand that this is an old, well-oiled TMC strategy. They keep a network of “political analysts” whose only job is to abuse opponents and run smear campaigns. What is more telling is that Tausif appears regularly on pro-TMC media platforms, yet TMC has never once publicly distanced itself from him. If he truly wasn’t connected to the party, TMC would have clearly stated that he does not represent them. Their silence only exposes the truth. Madan Mitra, a TMC leader and close aide of Mamata Banerjee, known for his rather colourful lifestyle, has now openly insulted Bhagwan Ram and called Him a Muslim. He has even asked, “What is the surname of Lord Ram?” Earlier, Kolkata Mayor Firhad Hakim called being born a Hindu “unfortunate” and expressed his wish for Urdu to become the dominant language in West Bengal, while on the other hand, TMC leader Humayun Kabir is building a Babri Masjid. The TMC has always appeased Muslims and reduced Bengali Hindus to second-grade citizens. In West Bengal, they have deliberately played shameless vote-bank politics to secure Muslim votes. They have been doing this for over a decade now. Imam Bhata and the increase in the Minority Affairs budget by “leaps and bounds” have been an open secret in West Bengal. But despite all this political favouritism, Mamata Banerjee can feel her vote bank slowly slipping away. So instead of wearing the hijab and reading the kalma openly in front of her Muslim vote bank, she has outsourced that role to her trusted party leaders. Mamata Banerjee is yet to arrest these leaders for making repeated anti-Hindu statements in public. She does not even condemn such statements. They wax eloquent about upholding democracy, yet their actions flagrantly violate its very principles. In the wake of this grave attack, a five-member delegation from our state will visit Tripura tomorrow to assess the situation, stand in full solidarity with our colleagues and co-workers, and raise the matter officially with the State Administration. Even I wondered how CM Revanth Reddy confidently predicted 117 seats or more for the Congress while dismissing the claim that the BRS would win 78 seats based on surveys in same speech . It’s contradictory. Sources said, “firstly, there’s a clear difference between a prediction & a survey. First one is a political assessment. Second is measure public opinion at a given point in time. Secondly, the BRS’ 78-seat claim is based on the current 119-seat Assembly. Revanth Reddy’s prediction is for a post-delimitation scenario, where the Assembly is expected to expand to 182 seats. The internal joke was if they win 78seats in 2029, they still won’t form govt as that won’t be the majority post delimitation. May his words come true, sources giggled. Thirdly, I was told even BRS leaders themselves have repeatedly acknowledged that both delimitation and the possibility of One Nation, One Election remain on the table. Any survey internal or external of the next Assembly election has to account for those possibilities. Finally Let BRS respond. Another joke was there is an internal competition for who will send media invite first for press conference. As I was ending the conversation- tad came invite. “oh so Harish wasn’t fast this time”, sources laughed. But this raises an important question about your role. For a long time, in your own state of West Bengal, radical jihadists have been relentlessly persecuting innocent Hindus in Murshidabad. Fleeing with their lives, many Hindus have been forced to abandon their homes, practically becoming refugees in their own land. Their possessions have been looted, and their homes set on fire. Despite witnessing these horrific atrocities against innocent Bengali Hindus, the police administration initially took no action. In fact, it was only after court intervention that central forces were deployed to stabilize the situation. Yet even after all this time, you have not visited Murshidabad, nor have you stood by the victims. From the highest administrative position in the state, the few comments you have made on the Hindu massacre in Murshidabad have left the persecuted Hindus of Bengal disheartened and increasingly anxious. The people of Bengal are beginning to understand where your real priorities lie! Therefore, I urge you—please turn your attention to Murshidabad. Stand beside the anxious Hindus there. While the Government of India is responding to the Kashmir situation with wartime urgency and will continue working to eradicate terrorism, it is now your responsibility to stop the politics of appeasement. Instead, you should act for the oppressed Hindus of your own state.

I have seen many opposition parties losing to the BJP from 2014. RJD, SP, INC, SSUBT, NCP etc etc.... But I have never seen the people tease, taunt, jeer & mock the opposition leaders, members of the party and an Ex CM as much as the people of West Bengal did to Mamta Banerjee, Abhishek Banerjee and each and every karyakarta, politician, or MP/MLA of the TMC party. From making memes, dancing on bridges and in pubs, mocking them in front of their houses, making a playlist of File Chor, Pishi chor Vaipo Chor type of songs, cat calling Mamta Banerjee in the Supreme Court,to spitting on Abhishek Banerjee.... they did all to their hearts content and are still dancing and celebrating. This is what happens....when you intimidate and torture people into silence and submission for years. I can predict that after this freedom and new found valour, if Mahua Moitra goes asking for votes in the Lok Sabha elections, every MP candidate of the TMC including her, will get what she most likes to advertise.......Eggs !!

The anger in South Korea is complex. Some are still upset at the removal of their President Yoon last year. Others think the electronic voting system is rigged. Yet others are concerned about President Lee’s current administration and their close ties to North Korea and China. But almost all agree that in a democracy, every eligible voter should have the ability to cast their vote. And in the recent election, due to ballot shortages at certain precincts, Korean citizens were stripped of the democratic process. That’s why they chat “re-election”. Since the demonstrations started on 6-3, similar rallies have been popping up all over the country with the one in Jamsil being the largest. The Korean National Election committee has already ruled out a re-election, but if this momentum continues, albeit highly unlikely, it’s not impossible. Korean politics is fascinating. Because as a democracy, one could argue they do it better than the US. If enough people protest, the government is forced to heed its people. 4 of the last 5 Presidents of South Korea have ended up indicted or in jail, and the dictators before them were forced out of power. In the US, it doesn’t matter how corrupt a President is — you’re forced to abide under his term regardless of public sentiment, and there’s no accountability for the upper political class and their corruption.
