Tocqueville would worry about an America where you can reliably predict someone's political views by the kind of chicken sandwich they eat, the coffee they drink, or the pillow they sleep on. The truth is we're skating on thin ice right now.

Vivek, we are ready for you in 28.

As I sit here with my Black Rifle coffee and a ChikFilA sandwich. 😁

Smaller government with limited reach is the only way we accomplish this. As a new process, perspective, or product becomes viable and gains in popularity, it is picked up on the political radar as a means of preserving power and status. It will then be used, abused, and derailed from its original course as partisan interests attempt to steer it in a way that is singularly beneficial. In order to preserve our ability to continue forward, to pathfind as the world's innovator, we must remove the government's ability to get in its own way. Politics has become a spectator sport, and while growing interest can increase awareness, it also creates new risk in the likelihood of our continued prosperity.
