It is very important for us to become self-reliant for the future. Given the kind of global politics and geopolitics that are unfolding, it is extremely important for us to be self-reliant. Prime Minister Narendra Modi identified this very early on through initiatives such as #MakeinIndia and #StartupIndia, among others. A foundation for #AatmanirbharBharat has been laid. There are several examples of this. ➤ Semiconductor manufacturing, which we had not been able to undertake since 1962, has now begun in India. ➤ Electronics manufacturing has increased from ₹2 lakh crore to ₹13 lakh crore. ➤ Defence manufacturing, which was once unimaginable, has now become a reality. - Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw #CabinetDecisions
