Today I am rescinding the Biden Administration’s Navy Climate Action 2030 program. We need to focus on having a lethal and ready naval force, unimpeded by ideologically motivated regulations. Our goal is Peace through Strength.

Our military (under both parties) have called climate change a national security issue due to fears of mass migration, disputes over natural resources, etc. Does the military no longer worry about this? The reason the US (and other nations) have shown interest in Greenland is due to climate change (ice melting) & sea lanes opening. This admin has cited this as a reason to acquire Greenland. This action goes directly against the argument to acquire Greenland.

"Ideological" would be to formulate your policy around anything other than climate data and actual measurements - If your goal is to have the Navy oversee the waters of a barren world, or a world undergoing a polycrisis due to unsustainable feedback loops: Mission Accomplished.
