As you know, I like recommending small and family run companies that do good work for me. When I bought my Johannesburg home, it had a semi-covered veranda and it used to stress me when it was raining. So I used AI to look for a solution and it recommended a company called Solara Awnings and Outdoor Blinds. They fitted the awnings for the first part yesterday and today, and they sent me this video of the work they have done so far. They are very good and very professional. AI recommended awnings with an electric motor, so when it is sunny you can open the veranda louvres, and when it is raining you close them. It gives you the flexibility to control how much light and sun comes in. So here is the deal. The company said I will get a discount for the back part of the house if I recommend them and they get more work, so do your thing. They are not expensive. When I am at the gym and I see somebody’s water bottle there or a towel or something. I know they just stepped away for a moment and that the machine is occupied. Out of respect I won’t move it out of the way only for them to come back and have to explain themselves anyways. This young lady on the machine left her water bottle on it because she stepped away for a moment to use the restroom only for somebody else to come by and try to use it in her place. Would you have understood the etiquette or is it just a free for all? When I first started working out I was unfamiliar with the gym etiquette. Some people just got done with a hard set and need to stand up and walk for a few moneys or get a drink of water and they use it as their rest period so that they can go back at it. Interrupting that process is the same thing as booting them off the machine mid workout. It’s rude and uncalled for but why does it keep happening? I think what it is, is that some people are very judgmental, they see others and think that they are more serious about working out than the other person so that to them it means they are entitled to use it first because their workouts are more important. I used to let them do that to me but no more. I treat it as first come first serve, if they don’t want to wait then maybe they need to avoid the gym during peak hours. This is the very reason I work out in the middle of the night most of the time. I rather not be bothered and if I need to take my time I can, most of the time nobody else is even there anyways when I go.

while talking about pet adoption, chenle said you really have to do it with true sincerity, the person who wants to adopt needs to have that love and responsibility in their heart. he said it’s not like, ‘i want a puppy right now so i’m gonna get one.’ you have to be sure you can take responsibility for them for their whole life, and that you can give them the love they deserve. that’s when it’s truly right to raise one. but if it’s like, ‘i want a puppy! i’ll get one!’ and then you get tired of them later… that’s honestly the worst. so chenle said that when we’re making decisions about a life, we really, really have to be careful… oh chenle :( ♥︎

This young lady was surprised by her parents on her Sweet 16th birthday with her dream car- a Porsche. Some people are congratulating her on receiving such an expensive car. The majority of people are criticizing the parents for buying her such a car to be her first automobile. They are saying that kids that age are still learning how to drive and they don’t need their dream car at 16. I wouldn’t buy my kids that for their first car. I would want them to have something to work for. But that’s me. If you are or were financially able to do so, would you buy your 16 year old a high priced vehicle like that? Or, do you think that is over the top?

If somebody is behaving in an ignorant way, if somebody does not respect other people, that is not a limitation of yours. That is a limitation of the person who is doing it. I get attacked quite a lot. You must have seen my opponents attack me. I don’t take what they say seriously. They have a particular anger, they have a particular frustration, so they are taking out their frustration. In the same way, when somebody attacks you, maybe body-shames you, they are taking out their frustrations. It has nothing to do with you. They are not happy with their situation. They are uncomfortable, so they try to find somebody to disturb. So I don’t take it seriously. India has many different religions, many different cultures, many different languages. I asked the girls today - they learn Tamil, they learn English, they learn Hindi, they learn Malayalam. So we have multiple languages, different religions, and different ideas, and we should respect all of them. You are perfectly within your rights to choose a language, to choose a religion. You are not within your rights to threaten someone because you don’t like the language they speak, or attack someone because you don’t like their religion, or because you don’t like where they come from.
